BREAKING NEWS!!!! Chris Henry Charged With Assault.

Here they go again! :toofunny::toofunny::thumbsup: Great job Bungals! Must be proud to be a Bungals fan.

Last Update: 9:40 pm on 4/2/08.

Troubled Bengals player Chris Henry is in trouble again.

The wide receiver is charged with assault and criminal damaging out of Hamilton County.

According to the police report, Henry was involved in a fight on Ohio Avenue in Clifton Heights Monday.

An 18-year-old man claims Henry threw a bottle shattering his car window and punched him in the face.

Chris Henry has reportedly told police this is a case of mistaken identity.

After convictions including a gun charge, the NFL suspended Henry and placed him on a zero tolerance policy.

We have not yet heard from the Bengals or the league.

At least the Steelers gave Wilson the boot immediately. Henry has to be on his 11 or 12th charge. Bengals have no shame. :shake01:

Yep.

I was about to say the same thing. Amazing how its no big thing for a Steelers player to do it, but it is absolutely evil when a Bengals fan attacks SOME ONE OF THE SAME SEX.

What a bunch of jackasses. Nobody said the Steelers were perfect. But to compare 2 first time offenders with Chris Henry is beyond laughable. It proves how far you are willing to sway to make your crappy hypocrisy arguement. I rarely make any comments in allthese Bengal did this threads, but come on you really want to be critical of people making fun of Chris Henry? Call me a when I am in here talking bad about Chris Henry and defending a 5 time loser that plays for the Steelers. I figures Fansince and HTG have just been dying waiting for a Bengal to screw up so they could carry their cross a little farther.

I the Mean time Chris Henry is a complete dumbass, but he claims mistaken Idendity and it is possible. So I will hold my comments on this latest incident.

And I'd bet you've been waiting for it with baited breath as well so you could call us out on it, right? You're a one-trick pony, pal. Hold your comments? Whatever. What happened to your "everybody makes mistakes" argument? I imagine you don't like the "hypocrisy" argument because it probably hits a little to close to home? Considering how you bash others for being "self-righteous" and adopt a self-righteous attitude yourself while doing so, I'd say your post is pretty much the definition of hypocrisy. Talk about a jackass. :coffee:

I believed it was you who called me out, BTW.

Who called who out in this thread again?

This one trick pony holds true to what he says and lives by it.....

Um, yeah, so do I, pal. Go back and check your poll and see who was in favor of cutting Harrison and who wasn't.

I'm pretty sure I havn't made any statements in any forum that would indicate I think Chris Henry type behavior is OK.

Yeah, right.

Yeah, I bet the whole time they were arguing, he was like man I really like my job, but this bitch is just asking for it.

http://forums.steelersfever.com/showthread.php?p=374480#post374480

....you are going to find out the crowd here allows no man to make a mistake in his life and move forward. You are completely right young people make mistakes that is how you learn lessons in life. Somehow I think there are at least 10-12 people on this board who have never made a mistake in their lives .

http://forums.steelersfever.com/showthread.php?p=374482#post374482

And both of these statements were made after all I said in the same thread was this:

Agreed once again. However, I look at it like this - if it were me, I'd probably have lost my job already. Why should a professional athlete keep theirs (if the charges are true)?

http://forums.steelersfever.com/showthread.php?p=374423#post374423

It seems to me YOU were the one who jumped on their soapbox regarding the subject in that thread first, and basically called others out for their opinions on the matter that didn't jibe with yours, not me. And BTW, way to put words in my mouth. All I said in this thread was that after recent events which the Steelers were and still are being ridiculed for, thanks to both Harrison and Wilson's behavior, and Dan Rooney's subsequent gaffe in the media, we really don't have much room to laugh about this. I never called you a jackass for expressing your opinion, only in retaliation for being called one first. I have a right to express my opinion, and you have a right to express yours. They're different, so I suggest you deal with it before you call people "jackasses" again due to that difference.

Now I wonder if Marvin Lewis is still ready to move on without Chad Johnson? Chad had an interview last night on ESPN. He wasn't happy with Marvin's remarks. I'd keep Chad Johnson any day over Henry .

Well...at least dealing with 50% of our problems is 100% more than the Bungals have done. I heard that the Dan Rooney said that Harrison's circumstances were different. I hope that he is right.

Todays update:

Chris Henry Turns Himself In To Police

Last Update: 8:06 am on 4/3/08

Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is in jail this morning on charges that he attacked another man at a party.

He is charged with assault and criminal damaging. According to a police report, Henry got into a fight outside a party on Ohio Avenue in Clifton Heights Monday night.

18 year old Gregory Meyer claims someone threw a bottle at his car window outside the apartment complex. He says he confronted the suspect and was punched in the face. Police say someone inside the party identified the attacker as Chris Henry.

Henry is expected to be arraigned this afternoon. He will remain behind bars until a judge sets his bond. Local 12 will be in court, and we'll post any new information here as soon as it is available.

Henry turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest last night

The practical side to all this? If CJ sits, and Henry gets suspended for life (which is the only fitting punishment), all of a sudden the Bungles have an awful lot of problems at the WR position.

They are going to be just a terrible football team next year.

If we're going to ridicule the Bengals for keeping guys who get busted on their roster, we don't have much room to talk. After all, the Bengals cut AJ Nicholson after he pled not guilty to a domestic violence charge, did they not? The similarities? Nicholson, like Wilson, was a scrub. Henry, like Harrison, is a "contributor." See the parallels? I have my doubts that we'd cut Harrison even if he did get in trouble again, but I hope we don't have to find out.

I have my doubts that we'd cut Harrison even if he did get in trouble again, but I hope we don't have to find out.i have no doubt henry woulda been released after the league took its action a year ago, had he been on the steelers.

and when the steelers look to draft their #3 wr, they pick up a Christian with strong family values, who doesnt drink or even step into bars (randle-el) as opposed to a known trouble maker like henry.

the ridicule the bungles receive is them lying in the bed they made. they have a chronic problem and ignore warning signs and red flags. the steelers (who by no means have chior boys) atleast pay attention and make an effort to avoid these types of players.

And for those of you who haven't heard yet......Chris Henry is involved in a second, seperate incident , involving several other Bengals. It gets better and better as the day goes on!

My husband also heard on the radio (WLW) that Chris Henry's mother was evicted today because he hasn't been paying her $650/ month rent. He's truly The Biggest Loser.

The owner of the club also told them that if they just paid for the damages, he wouldn't press charges. Chris Henry said, "F you."

http://www.wlwt.com/news/15778442/detail.html YOU MUST CHECK OUT HIS MUGSHOT!

Henry and some other Bengals could face criminal charges in an incident early Sunday at BANG nightclub.

Chris Henry, Chris Perry and Domata Peko were escorted out by police when the club closed, and a police officer working security around 1 a.m. said the players had become unruly.

"They're destroying a ceiling in the back room here, and they're all highly intoxicated," the officer said in a recording obtained by News 5. "The bar owner wants them ejected from the bar, so we're going to try and eject them now, but they've been kind of rowdy all night."

Multiple sources told News 5 that Henry was smoking a marijuana cigar inside the club and some of the players hung from a chandelier, ripping it from the ceiling.

Witnesses also said the players sprayed champagne on patrons and lifted up women’s skirts before they were escorted out.Police said no charges have been filed pending the settlement of damages.

No other information about that incident has been released, but the Bengals announced Thursday that Henry had been cut from the team following a string of legal problems, some of who have led to Henry being suspended by the NFL for more than half of last season.

He was just in court last week after being ticketed for driving with expired Kentucky license plates. He paid $149 in fines and court costs, according to the Hamilton County Municipal Court records.

.:jawdrop: wow. domata peko gave a great interview on sirius yesterday. when asked about all the locker room problems he said it was kind of embarrassing and unfair how everybody lumped all bengal players in the category of trouble makers. he said no matter where he goes the locals are always like "hey domato, hows it goin. stay out of trouble". he almost seemed offended. i9 guess he was just putting on an act.

and here i was thinking he mightve been 1 of the bungles few "good guys".

I don't think it's funny at all. I live here in Cinci. It's common knowledge that that his family is ghetto trash.......and their only source of income is thier NFL star son and brother. They depended on him and he's too freakin' stupid to keep a job where the whole world is handed to him on silver platter and all he has to do is play a game that he excels at and obey the same laws the rest of us do.

And then there are fans with responses like this.......

You know, I'm 110% sure that the f**kin' kid deserved getting his ass kicked for something. I doubt that Henry just went off on him for nothing. With that said, Henry should have gotten the f**ck outta there. And I'm really disappointed that his team mates, if they were really there, didn't grab him and toss him in the car and drive away. Oh well, water under the bridge now. See ya, 15.
