All members that served in the Persian Gulf War, and were residents of Pennsylvania during the PG War from Aug 90 to Aug 91 can now apply for there rebate. More info here:

On April 24, 2006, Governor Edward Rendell signed House Bill 1820 into law as Act 29 of 2006. This Bill establishes the Persian Gulf Conflict Veterans? Benefit Act. On November 7, 2006, Pennsylvania voters gave overwhelming approval to a ballot question to fund the program. The bond issue created a fund for the payment of compensation to, or on behalf of, eligible current and former members of the United States Armed Forces, a reserve component of the United States Armed Forces, or the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Deadline:
The deadline for submitting applications for the Persian Gulf Conflict Veterans? Benefit Program is August 31, 2015.

Every state oughta do the same... and for those coming back now as well. Fact is... if you serve this nation in war time... you should live tax free the rest of your life. As a THANKS from this country.

Actually, I think anyone who gets an Honorable Discharge from the US Military should be free from paying any Federal Income tax for the rest of their life. Regardless of War time or Peace Time service.

Where can I vote for that?? I'd change my tune real quick and even back Hillary if she was pushing that through.

I'll bet you wouldn't need to budget any more $ for recruiting commercials on TV.

That will be one of the Line Items in 2012 when I run on the TEA Party Ticket.

All Vets, free from paying Federal Income Tax. They will still pay local State Taxes, because that's just good form to do.

Tell you what...

limit that to vets who retire from the military or get a medical discharge for military related medical conditions, and I could sign on to that no problem.
