I'm am pleasantly snockered right now. It's been quite a while since I've had more than one drink, let alone more than one strong drink.

I found out today that my car is in need of a new engine. :banana::banana:

It had started making a tapping sound a while back and yesterday it let go completely. Made a loud thunk and just died. :banging:

The initial estimate is $4200.:dang: I will be calling around for additional estimates as well as trying to track down an engine myself. The crankshaft bearings and crank are shot. It probably woofed numerous other parts as well.

Anyway.... I felt that I deserved a little ah.... feel nothing juice tonight. I don't have to work tomorrow either so I can sleep in a bit.

WOW. Toyota engines usually don't blow until they pass the 120,000 mile mark. Sorry to hear of your troubles...

I did the same thing for my transmission in the early 90's and saved about 60%. Ride your bike damnit! *wink*
