What if we Traded Jason Bay and Adam LaRoche for some better pitching.

We have Doug Mientkiewicz to take over 1B and had Nyjer Morgan play LF

Nyjer Morgan doesnt have the power that Bay does, buy he is a base stealing machine with his speed.

Our problems this year are terrible pitching and i think we can trade Bay and LaRoche without to much of a drop in offensive production.

our new Lineup can be:

1 - Nyjer Morgan (LF/CF)
2 - Freddy Sanchez (2B)
3 - Nate McLouth (CF/LF)
4 - Ryan Doumit (C)
5 - Xavier Nady (RF)
6 - Doug Mientkiewicz (1B)
7 - Jose Bautista (3B)
8 - Jack Wilson (SS)
9 - [Pitcher Spot]

What pitchers do you think we could get for a trade like that and would it be worth it?

No way on trading Bay, as he is a leader both on the field and in the locker room, but trading LaRoche is a possibility. I wouldn't mind trading for Daisuke Matsuzaka or Jake Peavy.

I feel that Bay will be trading before the trading deadline. I hope not, but I think it is a real possibility.

I wouldn't mind that at all, but not at the expense of trading Jason Bay.

Uh nope, I love both guys Larouche is a slower starter give him some time, and bay is our guy come on, our pitching is mediocre. Snell is a great, we dont need this trade. Unless we get an amazing pitcher or just trade one.

Our pitching is not mediocre. Snell is amazing but the rest of our pitchers suck

ok so what word do you have for that then? I thought mediocre fit.

mediocre |ˌmēdēˈōkər|
adjective
of only moderate quality; not very good

Is that not what our pitching is? Not very good? Ok so we do have mediocre pitching. (waiting for a touche..)

According to Websters it means ordinary or average. I'm not sure why we are arguing about it though lol
