Bus 2.0 Maybe...

I need to see Mendenhall run some db's over before he gets a nickname.

That was used already by self-absorbed Tiki Barber and way overrated Ron Dayne. No thank you.

I like it as well, though I'll hold off on using the new moniker until I see him play "furiously".

Nice idea! Last year, our new/old high school coach would only let the team wear our whites (home or away) until he got the maximum from them. (It took til the 2nd home game to see our purple

I saw somewhere where Florida state in the 60's had 3 different helmet logos and the freshmen were not allowed to wear one!

How about....

Training camp fodder....

until he gets into the reg. season.

Then...

Backup...

Until he starts to actually play and prove himself.

THEN a natural nickname will come...

Like Dookie :chuckle:

I still say we wait until he earns a nickname...but just to give you all some Illinois insight...his nicknames at the University of Illinois were..."Shard" and "Darknezz"

As long as it isn't "shart." We already had one pooping running back "Dookie" and look how that turned out.
