wow i have very similar taste in music as you guys... all that stuff + some old rap stuff and then some good old southern rock... skynyrd, allman brothers, and you cant forget stuff like boston, and counting crows... there really is a lot of good music out there. i seriously have almost 3000 songs... and all the bands above... thats just of the top of my head

I saw that tour too! ... at the Brenden Byrne Arena (across from Giants Stadium) in East Ruthorford, NJ. There was a freaking riot and I still have the article from the paper. We more escaped then left the concert at the end. They were great though.

WOW!!! I like everyone on your list except Joe Grushecky....Don't know who that is. I'd add The Doors, Hendrix, Foreigner and The Eagles. But Bob Seger is a very underrated singer IMO. Who can forget "Turn The Page" and "Against the Wind". And I think John Denver's best song was "Rocky Mountain High" even though I like alot of his stuff.

They were great though.:laughing: i seen em in jacksonville FL ......pretty aggresive crowd , but no riots :shake02: ......ingwe malmsteen opened up ...... helluva guitar player , but his nonstop solos got kinda boring, plus his singer really sucked.

I like him too, but yes, he's boring. I forget who opened for them....

Wanna hear something funny? I saw Motley Crue on August 14, 1985 at Madison Square Garden. Good show, but touring a bad album (IMHO). I was taken to see them again 3 years ago at the PNC Bank Arts Center (Where I graduated HS). The date? August 14, 2005....exactly 20 years later. Smaller, but the show was way better.

Metallica and U2 remain my two favorite live bands....LIVE (the band) is good too, but they only play small venues. Seeing the original Black Sabbath a few years ago was a treat.

Havent heard from Roger in a long time. LOL... One time I wen to see them and they were late... the van burned up on the interstate. After being there for the first 4 bands someone jumped on my back and said in a NY accent "whats up ya big pollock!" LOL. Roger.

HUGE Maiden fan and enjoying the love they are getting here. Who knew all these men (and women) of steel were so into Iron.

AC/DC without doubt is #1. (Bon Scott / Brian Johnson - both legendary)

Thank God for Limewire. I just downloaded all 499 SOD songs, and it filled up 23 minutes of a CD.

Nice to see another Jello Biafra fan here.
Way under rated in my opinion, due to the name of the band and the genre.
Lyrics that were both intelligent and humorous.
DK's put on some of the best shows I've ever seen in my life.
