Lions QB Jon Kitna repeated his spring statement of last year and this year that anything less than 10 wins will be a disappointment. "Our expectation is, we will be disappointed if we don't win 10 games because that will mean we are not in the playoffs," Kitna said. "I can't make it any simpler than that. Anybody who says that's not their expectation level is unfortunately not very much of a competitor."

They started out good last year but for some reason they seem to fall apart at the seams when it starts to matter.

I think it would be good to see them in the playoffs and then knock out say, the cowgirls.

And that's why they won't win 10 games this season.

Jon, just shut up and play.

Hmm ... if he wants ot get them to 10 wins, he seems to be overlooking a huge problem: Jon Kitna is their quarterback.

I think in order for them to get to 10 wins they need...

John Kuhn

Actually... John Kitna is not there problem.

I would have taken Kitna over any QB we had between Bradshaw and Ben.

That and the fact that they don't have John Kuhn... as has been said before.

Well, they won 7 last year so they only need to win 3 more this year. It's possible.

kuhn can play receiver

the lions offense isgood, kitna is not their problem. their problem is that defense, that's what will stop them from having 10 wins.

still, they are the lions, they may have a top 5 Offense and Defense yet not make the playoffs.

Actually, I'd rather reference the FBI's crime statistics. Detroit is always up there.

They have top 5 potential on offense, but....
