Unchained Melody is a beautiful song. Have you ever heard it in Spanish performed by Il Divo? It is so beautiful it makes me cry.

I'm listening to Ordinary World by Duran Duran.

Never heard it in Spanish but I bet it's pretty. I usually like to listen to that song while I'm with the one I love....:wink02:

If You're Reading This = Tim McGraw

Absolutely beautiful song. Thank you to all who have and are serving our great country! :usa::salute:

If you're reading this
My Mommas sittin there
Looks like I only got a one way ticket over here
Sure wish I
Could give you one more kiss
And war was just a game we played when we were kids

I'm laying down my gun
I'm hanging up boots
I'm up here with God and we're both watching over you

[Chorus]
So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my momma always prayed
That it would go
And if you're reading this
I'm already home

If you're reading this
Half way around the would
I won't be there
To see the birth of our little girl
I hope she looks like you
I hope she fight like me
Stand up for the innocent and weak

I'm laying down my gun
I'm hanging up boots
Tell dad I don't regret that I followed in his shoes

[Chorus]
So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my momma always prayed that it would go
And if you're reading this
I'm already home

If you're reading this
There's going to come a day
When you'll move on
And find some one else
And that's ok
Just remember this
I'm in a better place
Where soldiers live in peace
And angels sing amazing grace

[Chorus]
So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my Momma always prayed that it would go
And if you're reading this

Cold- Suffocate.

Dedicated to all my ex-girlfriends:

I could take every effing word she says
Throw it in her face
But would she even care
I still remember when she looked at me
That frown upon her face
Trying to be sincere
I gathered all those little things she said
Kept them close to me
Trying to make this real
This cloud will alway hover over me
Im leaving you today
cause now I see

[chorus]
Suffocate, you suffocate
That you lie (I dont lie)
That your fake (Im not a freak)
Suffocate, you suffocate
You always take (I dont take)
What you can (what I can)

I could take every effing game you play
Blow it all away
But would you even care
I could take all those lies you said to me
Never go away
Never dissapear
This cloud will always hover over me
Im leaving you today
cause now I see

[chorus]x2

Now Im far away from you (youre always far away)
Ill never bring back yesterday (bring back yesterday)
Youre such a fake its true
I cant believe the words you say
Im far away from you
Ill never bring back yesterday

[chorus]

I always take
What I can

I see why we disagree so much. You're a DeVry guy and I'm more MIT. It explains everything!

Woah, junior, you need to crawl before you run! We need VERY remedial lessons for you, based on what I've read from you about Ben. If your education strata were a QB, MIT is Joe Montana to your Ryan Leaf. Even DeVry may be pushing it. I'm thinking GED for you, my friend...

Oh, and I'm listening to "Rainbow In The Dark" by Dio...old school 80's metal shout out, baby!

Nice song choice, old school. GED huh? Didn't think I was in the Blast Furnace! lol You concern yourself with your "education" and let me concern myself with mine. You happen to be one of the few who don't like me, just like there were a few who didn't like Joe Montana and/or Dan Marino. But it's ok that you choose to be in that "select few". :chuckle:

Oh yeah...and keeping with the theme of the thread, Motley Crue, Dr. Feelgood.

A) I've been warming up a bit lately
B) So you see yourself as a "Joe Montana" type? Delusional much?
C) Yeah, GED. On QB's, it's remedial classes for you...crawl then stand then walk then run.

And, in the spirit of the thread, Coldplay: Viva La Vida

A: It's all in fun!
B: Montana, Marino? Nah. I know better. Go back to point A for my real thoughts.
C: Most would say that I'm better than GED. You just don't like my opinion of your QB. That my opinion is shared by many of your own teams fans seems to have eluded you. Try not to read more into what I say (or put words in my mouth...err...postings) and you'll see it's not so bad an opinion. Minor tweaks to his game (coupled with improved lineplay) and he'll be THE most dangerous QB in the NFL. Unless you disagree...

I'll really not like seeing him on Sunday's if that day comes.
