he fell down like 3 times each during a song you could hear the bass make a horrible
noise each time he fell

I saw them briefly in Baltimore (before the ravens had Hammerjacks tore down). My g/f at the time couldn't stand the loud music....pissed me off she wanted to leave but since she drove I was pretty much screwed.

"ina godda da vida" cover by SLAYER

possibly one of the best remakes ever, from the "Less Than Zero" soundtrack., which in itself is an excellent and diverse soundtrack including

"you and me" by danzig
"life fades away" written by danzig and performed by one of his idols, roy orbison
"goin back to cali" a timeless piece by ll cool j
even "rockin pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu" by aerosmith is great
ill even plug the bangels "hazy shade of winter"

The book by Brett Easton Ellis (one of my favorite authors, the guy who penned the most violent and gruesome novel of all time "American Psycho") was WAY better than the movie, and the movie wasn't bad.

But you're right, that was a killer soundtrack.

Sweet! The best thing ever was in 1996... when we played our arch rival (read: enemy) Mt. Carmel Area. Our high school team (Shamokin Area) usually comes out to the Coal Township fight song (the one that Notre Dame stole from us!)

My best friend was on that team and coach told them the band director had something special for them. When they came out the doors he told them to walk, not run. The band played the Imperial March for them to take the field.

Ironically, its the last year we beat them. We did it once, then Mt. Carmel's band stole it from us. Like every other school stole the Tomahawk chop from us around here as well. The teams are usually decent, not world beaters... but we are innovators!
