I've recently proposed to my lovely girlfriend, and she actually said yes! ....sucker....:tt:

She doesn't know a lick about football, but I aim to brainwash her over to the ways of Steeler Nation. I think she asked me once how many periods there were in a game.

Good for you.

Here are three statements that will keep your marriage happy for years to come.

1. I am sorry honey.

2. How could I have ever thought differently honey?

3. Of course you're right honey.

Memorize, repeat, enjoy the marriage.

(Or just be dumb like the rest of us and argue... then wonder why the food is cold, the bedroom is overheated, and your clothes have a strange smell to them.

Congrats brother! I'm doin the deed on 11/1!

Anyone got a line on Redskins tickets for 11/3? She told me we can go to the first home game after we get married and lo and behold the boys are away, but I may be a little closer to DC for it!

but I thought I was supposed to say, "as long as you realize I'm right." I tried that with my ex wife, and I can't figure out why she left. I guess she just couldn't quite handle my undying wit and charm. :chuckle:

But seriously though, thank you all for the well-wishes. I'm happier than I ever thought possible.

Congrats, and as the two of you slide down the banister of life, may all the splinters be in the other direction. Good Luck, you will need it. but be smart teach her to cheer for the Browns then you have something to argue about. Otherwise you will always be wrong.

Just never say to her "the pants don't make you butt look big, it is the fat on it that does.

Also don't buy her a broom and tell her she can either use it to sweep or ride.

"I don't know honey, what do YOU think"

UNLESS....the guestion is "Do I look fat?"...then the answer is NOT .."I don't know honey, what do YOU think"....nor do you get in the last two words that I mentioned earlier..."yes dear".

So..an update on the gettin' hitched. My fiancee is on her way to my house, and has the idea that she and I should walk in to our reception to a Steelers song, while waving Terrible Towels. Keep in mind she knew almost nothing about football, let alone the Steelers, before she met me. I'm a lucky man. Only problem is, I need a good recording of something. Any suggestions?

You bring her into Football with the way of the Steelers, she should consider herself a lucky woman. World Class people cheer for the Black and Gold that is worn by the Pittsburgh Steelers

HOLY CRAP !!!!! I'M GETTING MARRIED IN 4 DAYS!!!!!! :tt::tt::tt:

Just remember... Wear warm socks.

NONE of the thoughts you or your fiance are having from this point forward are real... until a week after the wedding or more.

Just ignore them, and get ready for a long and great life together.
