Cut a QB who I thought was relatively decent, and a good guy to boot, but sign a troublemaking 1st-round bust of a TE to replace him.

Effing brilliant, Gruden.

wow.. didn't see this coming... i mean they did have 7 qb's on the roster.. i thought they would get rid of the rights to jake plummer.. since it looks like he isn't coming back.. i thought bruce was good... but lets see who picks him up.. maybe philly

that sucks, I really thought he'd be the qb of the future for the bucs. he was the only qb other than garcia that I liked from the bucs. hope somebody gives him a chance

With Garcia, Griese, and McCown on the roster Gradkowski didn't have a chance. Actually being cut now is helpful to Gradkowski as he has more of a chance to sign elsewhere and learn a new playbook, rather than being cut in August.

Gruden cut a QB! That's shocking, I thought he was going to carry 7 QB's on the roster.

He'll get picked up somewhere and get groomed. IMO, he can become a solid QB and start in the NFL...he just needs to be given the chance.

I can see the Vikings, Jets, Bears, and Panthers all taking a good look at him with their QB situations.

Bruce Gradkowski has shown enough the past two seasons to get a serious look as some team's backup.

He is certainly better than most teams' third QB !!

I talkeed to him last year at the Big33 game. Nice guy.

Gradkowski can hold his head up. Consider this:

The Bears paid Cedric Benson nearly $14 million over three seasons. He was scheduled to make $890,000 this year, with up to $1.6 million more in easily attainable bonuses. But it would have cost a team nothing to claim him on waivers and bring him in for a tryout.

How surprising is it that teams would steer clear of a player once held in such high regard? Consider that the Bears were one of four teams that recently put in a waiver claim on unheralded Buccaneers quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, who went to the Rams.

Another MAC QB. Toledo. He'll land on a roster for sure...Hell, who is the 3rd QB on the Browns roster?

Hell, who is the 3rd QB on the Browns roster?

Whoever it is he'll probably be the starter and a soon to be probowler :chuckle:
