DETROIT (June 18) - A young Muslim woman said she and another woman were refused seats directly behind Barack Obama and in front of TV cameras at a Detroit rally because they wear head scarfs.

Two Muslim women attending Barack Obama's rally in Detroit on Monday said they were barred by campaign volunteers from sitting directly behind the presidential candidate because they wear head scarfs. Spectators seated in that section, above, were shown on TV.

I can't in good conscience express a true opinion here, as I make no secret that I do not trust Muslims. All I can say is that Obama needs to practice what he preaches.

If it's true then I think it's pretty sad. They only wore scarves, they didn't preach Holy war.

evidently the two women got a call from somone in the obama party and wasnt happy with that. they wanted to hear from obama himself, which he apologized personally to the two women today.
