JAGR GETS $35 MIL OFFER

There are apparently 35 million reasons why impending free agent Jaromir Jagr has not responded to Glen Sather's invitation to meet with him regarding a 2008-09 return to Broadway.

A reliable third party source yesterday told The Post that his connections in the Czech Republic believe that Jagr
has recently received a three-year contract offer for the equivalent of $35M after-tax US dollars from Omsk of the Russian Super League. The captain is believed to have received the formal offer this week from Omsk GM Anatoly Bardin after months of conversations.

Jagr might as well go take the money and run. He will not get overpaid over here. He's WASHED UP.

Buh bye Fagomir! If he takes that offer from Omsk, look for Queer-o-mir to diss the Rangers like he did the Pens. The blubber-puss just can't help himself.

Don't let the door hit ya in that big hiney of yours.

Jagr would be stupid to not take that offer. He'll face more boos from Pens fans if he stays.

He may face just as many boos from Rangers fans if he stays. He isn't liked in NY either, just as he wasn't in Washington or Pittsburgh. However - I don't think the boos are going to be a contributing factor in his decision. He has to take the big moola wherever it is offered at this stage in his career, imho.
