:nurse: just want to say hello to all my fellow Steeler fans. I for one can't wait for the season to start. I have been a Steelers fan since I was a young girl. My brother was a Packer fan. I learned the game from him. I love high school football but for some reason can't rap my head around those college boys. I hope one day to get to watch a Steelers game up close and personal. For now a big screen will have to do. One of my patients made me a necklace from some Steeler earrings I had and it was the greatest gift I have ever gotten from anyone other than my family. I wear it often. Well enough about me, just want to say hey to all.

Hello steelergramie and welcome to the #1 Steelers fan site anywhere!:tt03::tt02: We're very happy to have you as a member of our black 'n gold family! :drink:

I was a nurse many moons ago, but had to abandon that career because I got too attached to my elderly patients and the kids. It broke my heart to lose a patient and though they tried to teach us in nursing school to separate the emotions from the job, it was very difficult for me to do so. I'm just a sap! :chuckle: I have the utmost respect for nurses and everyone involved in the medical profession - it is sometimes a very thankless job.

Looking forward to your posts! :hatsoff:

Welcome aboard. The more the merrier. I work in the medical field and am in contact with nurses a lot.

I too have the utmost respect for those nurses that love their job and passionately do what most would not I know a trauma nurse that wants to fly with blackhawks outside "the wire" in Afganistan to tend to wounded soldiers, but wont until her kids are older. Interesting group of people.
