OOPS, I guess we won't have anymore "Lets trade for Matt Jones" Threads

Bad newsweek for Jagoff fans. First the teams moving to LA and now this.

It couldn't get much better unless maybe Garrard was in the car with him....lol

My Bad...i may have been the 2nd biggest...

before the draft my dream scenario was somehow landing matt jones and prying michael bush away from al davis' cold wrinkled hands.

i never imagined we would land the best rb AND wr in the draft, though.

:tt03: so much for meth jones.

Probably explains why Del Rio was on his case last season for lack of commitment

No Problem, we all make bad calls. I wanted Justin Miller over Heath Miller and that's working out better that I'm not the GM.

I do want to say that I was against Matt Jones being a Steeler from Day 1. I dont like to say "I told you so" but I guess I just did.

Yeah, but he's a "possession, with the intent to traffic" receiver. He'd look good in a Bengals uniform.......that throwback orange jumpsuit that says "County Corrections" on it.

I just read the article.

"It is unknown why Jones was in Arkansas where he played quarterback for the University of Arkansas."

Well he was born and raised in the state and quarterbacked the state's biggest college football program. I'll give you two guesses, and the first one doesn't count.

With that much blow on him, my guess is he was on his way to meet up with Bill Clinton and a some strippers....lol

With all that money what the heck was he doing in the SUV - you would think he'd be able to establish himself with more respectable dealers (LOL).

Again, brain cells fighting against each other!!

I guess Mr goodell will be setting up a meeting with Jones in the near future.

I wonder if he can get a slap on the wrist fine if he just explains that it was a mis-interpretation of the rules?

If he's reinstated after his one year suspension, who picks him up?

Raiders?
Ratbirds?
Cowgirls?
Bungals?

I think that Cincy is the only one on the list that won't consider him. I think they finally gave in to the peer pressure and have wised up.

Jerry Jones can't seem to get enough problem children on the team.....that would be my bet. But MJ's biggest obstacle to returning anywhere is the the fact that he's just not very good to begin with.

Yep....I'm not optimistic about their chances. Too many problem children and it'll blow up in your face.
