Ben and the Terrible Towel

I was watching NFL Network on Monday. They showed the Steelers team cam where Ben was signing autographs after practice. He signed everything but Terrible Towels. He said. "sorry guys I don't sign Terrible Towels."

Does anyone know the reason for this?

Watch at 1:51 he says he wont sign them because its too hard but does make an exception for a kid.
