If I were a Packer fan, I wouldn't be very encouraged in Mr. Rodgers.

False start. One yard pass. Sack. Near INT. And then an INT that probably wasn't his fault.

Rodgers has gotten it together and showing some good stuff.

The Bengals still suck...no really, they suck. Recievers can't catch, Carson looking indecisive, and the defense is still horrible.

Great fumble play...so much for ball control.

Pre season doesn't mean anything except when the Bunglers look like sh!t. When the Bunglers look good in preseaon it doesn't mean sh!t. The only constant in this equation is the bunglers and sh!t.

yeah, ive seen steeler fans panic after 4 plays too. rogers is making #1 pick carson stink, and has already blown #1 pick, a. smith out of the water.

rogers is throwing darts on point. he will be fine. maybe not favre but who is?

on the other hand it looks like bungles wr's arent ready for some football and all their db's think they are anthony smith w/o actually being able to lay the wood.

good luck with the season bungchodes.

Kenny Watson is someone to be wary about. The Bengals don't completely stink.

See? I can be fair.

Seems to be the same old Bengals D out there.

What a suprise.

Such great tackling skills showcased on the Jones TD too.

I like the "tackle" on Donald Driver more.

Check out Rogers against the Cowchicks last year. The kid can play ball...I think he's going to end up being Glass Joe though, and the fans are going to have trouble accepting that...they are used to a true iron man playing at QB.

but that why the packers shelled out the big buck for john kuhn. he can give an entire fanbase a sense of ease and smooth over a period of transition with nothing more than a few carries in a preseason game...

lol

Aaron did look pretty good for the most part, but the Packers are doomed if he goes down with an injury. Rodgers + Brohm + Flynn...that's quite a gamble.

Preseason...:coffee:for the 1st preseason game, carson sure got alot of work in. (more than rogers?) the coaches musta felt he needed it (as did 1st time starter rogers).

yet they give little brother Jordan one attempt in the game.

what's the matter? scared he'll be better than carson? :flap:

Rodgers played great!! had his ups and downs, and will continue to have them through the season, but soon he'll become a very good qb

Those first three Bengals drives were just plain ugly.

Oh man....I couldn't help snickering last night when Brohm came in...

"And here's Brian Brohm's NFL Debut....and his first pass....an interception..."

Did you notice after that play that the TE was getting an earful from one of the coaches? Maybe Brohm was expecting a certain route and threw it to a spot (which unfortunately had 3 Bengals converged around one player.)

Did anyone catch the sideline interview with the fan and his daughter when asked, "How long do you think the fans will give Aaron Rodgers?" and he responded, "Oh, I think they'll give him some time..maybe 3-4 weeks."

That was classic....welcome to GB Rodgers!!!

They left the entire first string offense in there until they could put a decent drive together. You hate to see your first team leave the game with just a couple of 3-and-outs.

I do hope Jordan Palmer gets a chance to throw the ball next game...I believe he's much better than Jeff Rowe...and not quite as ugly.

when did gomer pyle and "mask" breed? :paperbag:

its a shame when it takes j. palmer and m. price to give UTEP a bit of credibility.

I was watching some of the replays of the Bungal/Pack game. Rodgers putting up a good showing against Cinci is not a good barometer, as I think Barney the Purple effing Dinosaur could torch that seive of a defense.

They were talking about this a lot on ESPN and Rome yesterday...if Rodgers goes down for any length of time, the Pack are in for a long season.
