Willie, Ben and Hines on offense, Woodley on D.

Woodley and Harrison on Defense. Ben and Parker on Offense. Overall team domination and a great start to the season for the Steelers!

Hope Cleveland is ready for their neutering.

Parker...3 Tds...bottom line Oline gets the game ball.

willie parker shouldered the load. wooda had 200 yds if him and ben werent shelved into the 3rd quarter.

all the doubt about fumbles, size, broken leg, etc. should be finally extinguished (but i doubt it)

dang hard to leave out ben with another perfect passer rating game and his only incompletion was actually a 73 yard competion to ward that was stopped a yard shy of a TD.

but willie it is.

for defense- woodley had the trifecta and a james harrisonesque game. he will be getting a ton of gameballs in his career :tt03: hes a gamebreaker. im thinking shawn merriman.

willie no doubt. 3 tds, 138 yards.

the oline played good enough to help him too

Our Outside backers were awesome today. Harrison and Woodley get mine.

Very true though that the entire D looked pretty solid. Great start to a great year! :drink:

Offense - Willie (but this wouldn't happen without the great play of the O-line; THEY SHOWED UP TODAY!).

Defense - Mr. Woodley. He dropped the WOOD today.

Woodley. Man, was he a friggin STUD today! If I'm one Derek Anderson, I'm probably asking the coaches to put Brady Queen in there next week :chuckle::tt02:

I would say Woodley on deffense and Parker on the offense.

Offense: Ben and Willie (Ben had one completion, I kid you not look at the stats and Willie looked like his broken fibula was a distant memory)
Defense: Lamar Woodley, he was outstanding

I say the entire Team gets the game ball! Everyone did a fantastic job.

St33lersguy, I think you mean Incompletion....

Offense goes to Willie Parker, with the O-line coming in close 2nd.

Defense goes to James Harrison and Lamarr Woodley. Outstanding play from those two fellows! Steelers D rocked the house.

Offensively, it has to go to Parker or Ward. Defensively, it goes to Woodley or Silverback.

I can't believe I'm saying this BUT...

the O-line crawled out of the gutter and played with heart. Perfect? Hell no. Disgraceful. Double Hell NO.

Sloppy. Yes. But they exceded. And skill aside I thought that they exhibited an attitude that wasn't there before.

Bruce Arians is wired right.

O-line on O

Woodley on D, defensive player of the week!!

Fast Willie Parker!

Although I can get frustrated with his pitter-pat footing before he decides to hit the hole, when he did make up his mind, he had some nice runs.

Go Steelers! :tt03:

I dont like the fact that Willie is considered a B level running back at best by experts. You look at his stats on paper and you think man he is good, but when you see him play it's ''wow he is amazing.'' That could be a good thing because of last years situation. The Steelers don;t handle publicity well. He finally got noticed for his rushing yardage and his leg got broke. Lets see what happens this year.

My game ball goes to the Silverback. Tough, aggressive defense is what Steelers football is all about.

I give to the O line. As much criticism they have recieved they played tremendously. Dominating the Texans good young line.

Wow, when I have a hard time picking a guy that produced 3 sacks on def and forced a turnover you know things went well . . . When I have to chose between a perfect passing performance or outstanding 3 TD's and 100+ yard rushing performance you know things went well . . . Game ball goes to the entire team for me, outstanding in all facets of the game.

I give the game ball to Coach Mike Tomlin foe a good game plan and shoving the ball down Houston's throat! Excellent job!

I can see why a lot of people are going with Woodley, but I think Harrison had a hell of a game.

3TD's and 138 yds in 3 quarters gets Willie the nod.

The O-line stays in the background and Willie takes em out for a steak after practice. Its the way it should be.
