I know a lot on the board were fans of Royal pre draft. I was hoping he would slip to us in the 3rd and be the KR and slot WR that Willie Reid never was.

Too bad he never fell that far. He showed great hands and quickness last night.

He looked very good, I like Cutler and hope he does well, it's nice that they ditched an injury-prone, overrated receiver and picked up a solid receiver.

Asomugha is really good, in my eyes #2 in the league behind Champ Bailey and Bailey better watch his ass, only he hits harder than Bailey and his coverage is just as god to me. A true "shutdown" corner, to me, is a guy the offense is afraid to throw to. I love Ike and wouldn't trade him, but he's not that kind of guy (assuming the work he put on his hands is going to pay off, he could be though).

The Raiders don't really have big playmaking safeties, or going by last night even guys that can prevent the deep ball.

The question is: Royal that good, or Hall that bad?

that's what I'm wondering

I've always thought hall sucks, so the next few weeks should answer that.

he should also have some help when marshall comes back
