Those are some crazy pictures.
While I'm thankful that it missed us, it is still sad to see the destruction that hurricanes leave in their path.
What's even more bothersome is it seemed that people were more worried about getting Reliant K Stadium operational more so than getting the towns and cities functional!! Where's the priorities?

It's just terrible.
When will man learn his arrogance and technology can not tame nature. I feel bad for these people, just as I did for the Katrina victims. Well maybe not the looters and the evacuees that decided to apply for FIMA aid about 20 times over to buy luxury items.
I don't know if we should have ever built cities in these areas(Galveston and New Orleans). Yeah, there could be hurricanes/tornados/earthquakes anywhere, but don't compound the problem with building in an obvious high risk area.
