Will the Steelers be accepting his services?

He is, after all, from Detroit.

i was wondering when this was gonna happen.. i mean drafting wr's in the 1st rd for like 4 yrs in a row won't cut it

Thats almost as bad as ignoring the OL/DL for 4 years in a row.

Holy Crap. I thought this guy would keep his job forever. Wow, someone up in Detroit actually woke the Ef Up and paid attention to the fact they have sucked for a very long time.

Thats almost as bad as ignoring the OL/DL for 4 years in a row.

Only thing is, one team went to the playoffs 3 out of the past 4 years, won a Super Bowl, and never finished under .500, while the other never finished above 7-9 or so much as sniffed the postseason during the same timeframe. Comparing the cluster**** the Lions' FO is to the Steelers' FO is a little more than just a stretch.

I bet people in Detroit (Rock City) (sorry it is the KISS fan in me) are Dancing the Streets at this news. (It is the Motown Fan in me.)

yeah it is kinda of hard to compare the two.. and in the steelers case we drafted several pos in the first rds... the det took wr after wr after wr..

good for them. a little late though

this means no more receivers for the lions in round 1 though:chuckle:

but the steelers lost this week, so everything is negative

a caller to sirius today asked about bill cowher going to detroit as GM.

pat kirwan works in meetings with bill every saturday and said he genuinely enjoys his retirement and the job at cbs.

he says he often quotes 2 coaches careers-

chuck noll who never returned and dick vermiel who took a really LONG break.

I've sent my resume. I also have no experience, can deliver record losses and need $50 million.

Vis, I can beat that... I will only demand $49.5 million:chuckle:

I really cant believe that it took the Lions this long to do what they have finally done. They have a lot of talent on offense there and with no running game teams only have to put 7 or 8 DB's out there and they dont have to worry about the running game
:hatsoff:

Arians for president, lions team president :chuckle:
Hey maybe he could take Mike Mularkey as his head coach!

i think that matt milen has set back the lions so far with the horrible drafting of so many wr's... the lions need a mircale to become good again and get out of millen's mess

Actually Matt Millen grew up in Hokendauqua PA right down the street from me. A Hokey boy. :tt03: Not that he was ever any good as a GM... :banging:

As long as Colbert is doing as good of a job as he has done, No Millen.

So I can't hear the Lions call Fire Millen no more? DAMN!

I am wondering if the Steelers are at a cross road . Your so right and we may be seeing the results of such poor drafting for the past 4 or 5 years. This game Monday night is hugh .

Matt Millen is an idiot. This has to be a happy day for Lions fans. I couldn't imagine having to suffer what they have been through.

This is a case where the owner was too out of touch with the team. Maybe they'll draft a D guy in the top 5 next year. :flap:

PATHETIC franchise right now.
they need a good QB that should be their draft worries.
