Is there a chance the colts go undefeated and be remembered like the 72' dolphins? Or will they pull manning, james, harrison if they get homefield advantage? What do you do?

Consider yourself warned if you're an owner of Colts' QB Peyton Manning, RB Edgerrin James, and Marvin Harrison.

Until now, we've speculated as to whether head coach Tony Dungy would bench his star players if the team locked up homefield advantage early. The Colts' undefeated record and a shot at making NFL history made this situation even more uncertain.

But no more.

Following an interview with SI.com's Peter King, we now know that Dungy will almost certainly bench his starters if and when the team locks up homefield throughout the playoffs.

"Your whole plan is to win the Super Bowl,'' Dungy told King. "While it would be nice to be 16-0, it doesn't change our plan. If we happen to be that fortunate, to have a chance to clinch home-field before the end of the season, the plan would be the same whether we were 12-3 or 15-0. We'd be playing to win, but we may be playing some different players.''

Okay, so the Colts would still try to go 16-0... but with different players... such as Jim Sorgi, Dominic Rhodes, and Troy Walters.
