View Full Version : Steelers/Ravens - Who Gets Your Game Ball?

Tough choice between the Steelers D unit and Jeff Reed, so I'm going to give 'em both a game ball. The D kept us in this game, Woodley gobbled up that fumble and scored, and though the Rats got 20 on the board, I think they did an outstanding job feeding Flacco turf burgers and making the plays when it mattered most! :tt03::tt02:

Jeff Reed - what more can I say other than he is outstanding and Mr. Automatic? He put 11 points on that board tonight and kicked the game winner!:tt03::applaudit:

Who gets YOUR game ball(s)?

Moore and Woodley.

EDIT: And Reed - the guy is money.

Defense and Woodley. His TD turned the game around and switched the momentum our way.

I still cannot excuse the D for giving up that game tying TD drive in the 4th quarter to a rookie QB so my game all goes to REED.

One word: CLUTCH

Mine goes to the D. Keeping the game close and with that score turned the momentum our way.

I gotta give it to Moore and Ben.

Moore stepped up when he needed to.

Ben took control of the team.

they were tired from our offense going 3 and out. It was obvious. I cut them some slack on that drive.

I'll give mine to the Steeler's pass rush(specifically Woodley and Harrison) and Big Ben for really taking control of the offense in the second half.

Moore and Woodley.

EDIT: And Reed - the guy is money.

Melwede got to show his stuff. I hope we get to see more Moore!

Split between "Mr. Automatic" Jeff Reed and the Twin Monsters, Woodley and Harrison. Outstanding job by all 3 to get the job done when it mattered most.

That may be our only option with Mendenhall and Davis getting injured tonight.

Hopefully Willie will be back after the bye.

Offensive: Mewelde Moore
Defensive: The Blitzhounds, James Harrison and Lamarr Woodley

And major props to Mr. Dependable, Jeff Reed.

I think that Woodley and Harrison are dangerous to the health of opposing QBs and offenses.

Game ball goes to Woodley, Harrison, Moore, and Reed.

I'd give it to reed.

I'll give it to Ben...he proposed the idea of a no huddle offense to spark things and it worked out well. He also made 2 huge plays at the end--the check down to moore and the quick out/hot route he hit to put us back in field goal range. Both times he was under heavy pressure

And if not Ben, I'll give it to Jarret Johnson :chuckle:

Mewelde Moore- He demonstrated why the Steelers got him in Free Agency. He could be our Brian Westbrook. Way to step up tonight, Mewelde.

Silverback and 'the Wood'- What can I tell you? These guys are monsters.

Reed- Clutch.

Did anyone see the hit on Reed by Ward this time? I heard someone mention it but never saw it. Maybe it will be on Youtube again. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hines is the soldier, not K2.

Woodley, Harrison, Moore, and Reed.

All three of them are pretty damn clutch.

Woodley and Harrison should come with a sign:

Warning: These two players could possibly be bad for the health of your quarterback.

Steelers fans for stepping up and calling a spade a spade and telling it like it is. Their displeasure fired up the team at halftime. They were pissed off and Ben was quoted as saying he was tired of being booed. Then the fans roared like thunder when the Ravens had the ball during the second half and reminded the Rats that nobody beats the Steelers on Monday nights at their house. :tt02:

And a very special thank you to Jeff Reed. mwaaaaaaaaw!

Harrison & Woodley in my eyes their efforts compensated for a depleted Dline with only one true starter. Plus notable mention to Troy as he broke up alot in the 1st half.

Thats strong Steelers defense mainly the D line who dressed only 5 lineman and played there hearts out into OT!
Plus Harrison and Wood play lights out and you can't ask for more!
