I've always liked Shanahan, he's a classy guy. Al Davis is looking more and more senile by the day.

Senile?... hardly. Mean, nasty, vindictive, overbearing, controlling, domineering... absolutely.

I wouldn't say Shannahan is exacly classy, but I don't have any problems with him either.

Sorry... it just isn't true.

He's everything I said above, plus............ egotistical, pompous, arrogant, and a megalomaniac.... but he is hardly mentaly unstable.

Sapp says Davis meddles, lives in the past

"I remember the first two weeks I was there, we played a preseason game," Sapp said. Somebody came up one time and said, 'We're going deep right here, dog.' I said, 'How do you know?' He said, 'The phone just rang.'

"All the preparation that goes into a week of work is there, the practicing that you have to put in order to do these things, sometimes (Davis) messed with that part of it and that's what kills you."

"You take him out, put him at home watching film or whatever he is doing (and) you have a functioning football organization," Sapp said.

Yeah, that's a great article. I like where Sapp says Davis thinks its Plunkett to Cliff Branch still. That and how Sapp tells anybody that calls him.....dont go to Oakland.

Mentally unstable....maybe not, but I bet Al Davis can hide his own easter eggs and have trouble finding them.

Nah... it is rather a bleak thought though.

You know, Al's mother lived to be 103.
