I pick the Saints. Vikings have a pretty miserable pass D. It would surprise me if Brees doesn't have a good night.

Saints strike first. 7-0.

Saints offense will throw all over that horrendous pass defense for the vikes.

Saints FG is blocked and returned for a TD.

Tied 7-7.

I picked the Saints in my pick-um game. I think the Vikes are so lacking at QB.

Boy the Saints D is terrible. I bet the Steelers could place 8 starters on that squad.

I have both running backs on my fantasy team, I need 20 points to win. My opponent has no players in the game. Am I going to get it.

Boy the Saints make a lot of mistakes. Very undiciplined they are. Is that Marvin Lewis coaching them now?:wink02:

Ever since the opening drive, New Orleans regressed back to being the Aints.

I need Minny to win this one to win my office pool for the week. It's down to me and another guy who picked the Saints.

Awe man. I WAS pulling for the Saints. I guess I'll need to use a little luck of the Irish to wish for a Viking win now, but you owe me! :wink02: :drink:

....on second thought, you may not want me to. "Luck of the Irish" isn't what it used to be. Only seems to work for the 50-50 (normally the drawinf just after the big pot gets won by someone else).

Best thing about Reggie Bush ....... Kim Kardashian.:lust:

Do the Vikes play the Cowboys this season? NFL Math : Kim + Jessica = Jello.

Minnesota has completely sucked the life out of this crowd.

This is where their lack of offense really hurts. If they had any semblance of a QB, they would've put this away.

Geez, the Saints are a comedy of errors.

Wow ... who is the special teams coach for the Vikes?

Flash forward in 6 months in the life of Brad Childress: " would you like to super size that x-tra value meal?"

Edman
10-06-2008, 11:32 PM
If this doesn't get Brad Childress fired, I don't know what will.

What a godawful collapse by the Vikings. TWO punt return TD's for Reggie Bush.

Looks like our kick coverage team from last year is playing for the Vikes now. Way to lose my office pool for me guys. :banging:

This is why I hate the NFC...no one plays defense or special teams, especially defense. People freak out about the crazy high-powered offenses of the NFC, and when it comes down to it they get smacked in the mouth by an AFC team.

whoah! billy miller was absolutely blasted!

i cant believe the announcers would suggest a fine coming towards the dude who hit him simply because miller lowered his head into a hit.

BUT....

the way the refs are instructed to call these games, i wouldnt be to suprised.

perhaps the players are becoming bigger (and faster and stronger) than "the game".

if thats the case, the NFL as we know it may come to an end.

Same old hard luck Saints. This is like the old Saints when Papa Manning was coming up on the losing side of games after playing more than well enough to win.

That was such a mugging that the Vikes receiver should really take a pregnancy after he gets home.

For sure, the Giants are somehow looking pretty legitimate. It's annoying to me these teams all talk about how amazing the NFC East is when they're giving up 30 and 40 points a game. The Giants have a stout D, and the Redskins' D showed up the last two weeks, but the Cowboys are just sloppy and the Eagles seem confused (except of course when they dismantled our OL, but you put 25/32 teams against us the way they played that week and the same thing happens).

Frustrating that the Broncos and Chargers et al are moving towards this as well. I love me some good smashmouth defense football.

Talk about the Saints shooting themselves in the foot, but props to them Bush has 2 punt returns for TD's and the Saints almost pull out the win.
