I started playing online about two years ago. It has become a fun past time for me. Just wanted to know if anyone else plays.

Man, I love to gamble... but the day I start gambling online would be a sad, sad day for my family. It's better for me to have it compartmentalized into trips to the casinos with my wife along with me. My blood doesn't even start pumping until the minimum bet is $25.

I agree mosca, Ive had to rein myself back in many times. I just love the rush you get though when you are either in a big hand or at the final table. Know when to say when. LOL, hard to do it!

Play all the time for free, way to cynical to put up my credit card and have a computer tell me whether I won or not.....lol

I noticed when I first started watching on TV how the announcers kept talking about how a lot of the players started online....sounded fishy to me then. IMO those shows are one big commercial to get people to gamble online.

I play on Full Tilt b/c at the time I signed up it was the only one that had softaware that works on a Mac.

I've been too busy to play recently. I NEVER gamble online. The only time I use real money is when I"m in Vegas or AC.

Ya. I play for free too. Its fun to do to just burn some time.

I only play with real money in games with friends. I pay SOOOOO much more attention in real life.

I play at poker stars on a regular basis...I'm up and down as an Online player....Much better player in live games....But I have cashed out on Pokerstars for over 500 bucks and 300 bucks....

Finished 5th in a 220 player tourney....Buy in was 22 bucks.....that was my biggest win online....Plus it was a rebuy tourney....I didn't rebuy....lol

Nice. I too play poker stars. I find that it is a good past time. I'm also a up and down player. Are you more of a sit n go guy or do you play in the big tourneys?

Its a great way to past the time....I love No Limit Hold'em........I will play sit n go or the big tourneys.....it doesn't matter....I do like the sit gos since they are quicker....Some of the bigger tourneys can last a long time....So some times I don't have the time to play in the bigger ones......This whole work thing gets in the way.....lol.....But my plan is to play poker for a living.....I have a casino in my town and you find a ton of donkeys there...:sofunny:

Sometimes I play online but it's with the fake money - never the real stuff.

I play with friends for small change - maybe 20 each and winner takes all with no limit hold 'em. It's just for fun. In Vegas I play craps but I would never play poker at the casinos here in NM, not very smart unless it's your job and you know everyone.

Love poker, but if I start playing it online it would lose its fun.

I play it like once a month, and if I had it right there on my computer it'll become an addiction

I play poker with some work colleagues every few months and I also try to play every now and then online but its through facebooks one so its not real money. Just play to get my mind deeper into it and start to work on a few new techniques etc, came 3rd yesterday in a tournament but usually crash out

I've sat down at casino games where I felt there was collusion. Not much you can do; just cash your chips, smile, and leave. I like craps more anyhow; I love the fast pace and the huge risk (just like J McCain!). That's what gets my blood going, having a hundred or so riding on a roll; point 9, and the shooter throws...4; throws...12; throws...3; throws... NINE!

Nothin' like it. Of course, there's nothing like having a seven out, either. That certainly sucks, and a few of them in a row can ruin your day. But you can also be up a couple or three grand in half an hour.

I used to play at Bodog but since they stopped acepting my debit card for deposits and transactions, I don't anymore. I would just put in $20 at a time and it would last for months...if I made over $200, I would withdraw back down to $20 and start over.
