this was gonna be a PM, but i think its better if everybody read it....

im disappointed our discussion about the most recent terrorist threat agains the united states has been locked. while the conversation was getting heated, it was a conversation that we could easilly see eye to eye on.

with that being said, i genuinely mean it when i say (via rep) that i wish i couldve traded one of my better days here in the states for one of your worse days in combat.

that is a gift/sacrifice that i would gladly have given to you (or any other of our brothers/sisters) in the face of danger.

one day of my life in freedom (that i so frequently take for granted) woulda meant so much more to you and all of your bretheren, in a time of fighting a war. :drink:

i am absolutely sure there was a time out there where you wondered if you would ever see your mother, father, children, brother/sister, or beautiful homeland again.

i can relate with that and would gladly subtract that 1 day of doubt with 1 day that i have taken such things for granted.

an even swap would only be fair.

with all that being said, as a democrat, who is now dead set on voting democrat in this election, let it be noted that there is probably no others who are as "pro- hawk" as myself.

i was born military, raised military and earn my living via military. i know its easy to lump all democratic (obama) supporters in a box, but that is a bit unfair.

both mccain and obama are both committed to growing/expanding and strenghening our military might.

As I said Toney in our last "debate" I believe you are a good man. I hold no grudge against you, actually I'm happy we live in a society were we can agree to disagree. I said a few remarks to you that I regret. I have no doubt you are a patriot. I appreciate this thread, and again ..... I do like you. Toney......thank you.....
