running the ball 75% percent of the time, only to be exposed in the playoffs or a team that develops its young qb and be a real and complete threat next year? With Cowher, we haven't done either.

If We Lose To The Bears Then The Rest We Should Air It Out The Rest Of The Season.
Let Ben Throw 40 Times A Game....

If Ben throws 40 times against the Bears, his season will be over.

I like the current path. We need to be able to do both well.

well yeah i'd rather be 9-3 but hey things happen for a reason, this could be a good thing, cause i didn't like that we didn't get better in the offseason and now we really have no choice but to change things and get better. we still have a shot at the playoffs but if we don't get it we gonna have a good draft pick and we can make some trades and stuff like that to make us better

Yah, da Bears are the #1 Overall Defense in the NFL, as well as the #2 Pass Defense. If Ben throws 40 times then Vasher probably gets a good 4 INTs, two returned for TDs...

No Way we will throw the ball 40 times again. Unless the line doesn't break down that we can have a running game again.

It'll be a major blow if we lose to the Bears. I just hope they are all learning something from these losses!!!

Come on Steelers,

I'd rather be right where we are...we'll get ours soon enough.

Always the steady rock suit ! :tt: The calming influence in a sea of dashed hopes and dreams that has been this season so far!

There is no way we will throw the ball even 25 times against the bears...they have no offense...the key to this game is ball controll (NO TURN OVERS) If we lose the turn over battle we lose the game... Our offense is 3 times the offense of the bears but defensively they are as good as it comes...just pound it up the middle and hope for the bears to turn it over on offense... we should get a couple picks against Orten he is young.

I think Cowher would have love developing Ben into a more complete passing qb, but after a 15-1 season, the expectations were to high on winning. And then the injuries set in.
