Yeah last I heard he was going to play, he had a few good practices. I'm sure Moore won't just be a third down back anymore cause he's been running so good.

if he is gives the steelers the best chance to win than he will play, if not let Moore ride his streak.

im hoping the steelers will handle business like they should against the redskins, i really dont want to hear the crap talking from all the bandwagon redskin fans (which make up about 98% of all the redskins fans) around where i live at.

Parker playing, Troy playing....Kemo back to practice.

Ya know....A weekly "Injury Update" thread would eliminate all these questions...

Polamalu, Parker, other starters back in the groove

By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

New father Troy Polamalu will resume his duties as a football player Monday night after his wife gave birth to their first child on Friday.

Polamalu, the Steelers' four-time Pro Bowl free safety, missed practice Friday and today to be with his wife, Theodora. The couple had a son.

Today, Willie Parker went through another practice and should make his first appearance at halfback Monday night in more than a month. He has not played since Sept. 21, when his left knee was sprained.

Guard Chris Kemoeatu returned to practice after missing Friday with a sprained ankle.

However, offensive tackle Marvel Smith again missed practice because of back problems, and Max Starks will make his third consecutive start on the left side for him.

Mitch Burger will return to punt Monday night, his two hamstrings healed sufficiently. The Steelers today released Ricky Schmitt, a punter signed early in the week, from their practice squad. Linebacker Donovan Woods, released last week from the 53-man roster, was signed to the practice squad today.

Great to see Parker ready for action, we miss his burst of speed. I wanna see how they approach Parker and Moore, my guess would be they will split the carries 50/50 or since it's Parkers first game in awhile from 75/25 Moore.

is it just me or are most teams more injured this year?

sea has no WRs left, jax and inidy lost their O-lines, dal has no qb or corners.....

The Shehawks also lost Hasselbeck...

You're right though - a lot of teams have been hit hard with injuries. About the only team that hasn't been is Tennessee, which is part of the reason for their 7-0 record.

Let's just say hearing the words "Willie Parker" and "very limited action" or "reduced role" in the same sentence would be music to my ears. Moore is playing great, so no reason to mess with that. Especially if it's to bring back a guy who's had a nagging injury. EASE Parker back into the lineup is the key, or just keep him available if the offense with Moore stops being effective.

The thing about Parker being out the last few games is he will be ready for the last part of he season he won't be wore down like he would have if he had played all the games so hopefully he will be full power.
