"Dick LeBeau has been coaching for like 800 years. We're talking about the same D that owns the likes of Brady and Manning regularly."

"Yeah, he (Zorn) was clearly outcoached against a vet team that is at the top of the AFC. The Steelers are who we thought they were, and so are the Giants."

"LeBeau is an elite DC, hell they were talking about how he gets in the HoF during the game.He has good personnel and always maximizes their talent, there's no great shame in just admitting that their D was that good."

"wtf.. you aren't going to be successful with gadgets plays like reverses against a defense as fast and as well coached as the Steelers. They brought a very physical defense to our house and beat us with it, plain and simple"

And my personal favorite................

"....it's disguisting watching the game on TV and seeing all the terrible towles.. It's pretty much a home game for the Steelers.....There are steelers fans EVERYWHERE!! All the teams try to warn their home team fans not to sell tickets to steelers fans."

Way to Go Steelers!!!!!!! :tt02: :drink:

Good knowledgable fans have a knack for giving credit where credit is due and not being awful sore losers (cough Patriots cough). I commend them for telling it like it is...

Agreed - the couple of Redskins fans that came by here this past week were good folks too. No ill will here.

Got a few not-so-nice comments at the game last night, but all in all, good time, and the towels were well represented last night.

From being there, I'd say it was close to 50% split in fans.

I watched the game with a Skins fan at my house last night and even he was giving credit to the Steelers D. :tt02:

Never really met any bad Skins fans, they are pretty respectable fans. Was fun watching it with two of them last night and watching their disbeleif, kind of like when I watched the Eagles game.

Its not that the black and gold travel wells but that steelers fans are everywhere. heck most of the steeler fans i have met have no conection to the city other than being steeler fans.

You are right on that assumption. I have never even been to Pittsburgh but have felt an affinity for the hard working people there and their hard nosed football. Growing up in Montana in the 70s I gravitated toward the Steelers because I was a HUGE Pirate fan during the Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell era. One of these days I will make it to your great city and check it out. Hopefully during a game if it is even possible to get tickets. :tt02:

You can't forget have the city that left in the mass exodus in the early 80's to find work in other places.

exactly, and they went off got jobs, raised kids and now those kids are buying up tickets in every city where the Steelers play. Steelers Nation is generational.

Dallas in 04, what a freaking laugher that was, at least 35% maybe more of the crowd was Steelers fans.

I'm going to try and get to Tennessee this year, its the closest the Steelers are to my house this season. Wanna bet even if the Titans are unbeaten, we get at least a 20% crowd on hand in their home stadium.

There will be a lot of Steelers fans at LP Field .. that is for sure (I definitely hope to be there!!)

There are a LOT of Steelers fan in Nashville from back in the day when Tennessee didn't have an NFL team. So a lot of us don't need to travel, we already live here! LOL I told the Titans fans at my work this morning, their team should be on notice! We managed to basically shut down Clinton Portis. We can do the same for LenDale/Chris Johnson. I can NOT wait for that game! Still working on tickets !! lol

It was a good day to listen to Redskins radio. Everyone said that the Redskins lost to a great team and they got outcoached. They also said thousands of cars with PA plates were at FedEx Field so maybe some do travel well afterall.
