I would have barely given it to the Packers because the small population of Green Bay is able to support an NFL team, but I couldnt agree more, I have seen Steelers fans everwhere!

: Wow...Good Stuff! ... I've often thought about this over the past few years. I would think its more on the fact that Steeler Fan base is as Nation wide spread as they come. I often travel to the Washington DC area. There are two major NFL fan groups in that area. First there's the Redskins of course, but you see a VERY large amount of SteelerNation as well. Its odd because one would think that the Ravens fan base would be the 2nd largest in that area, but its not. The fact that no NFL team's fan base has such huge numbers supporting at away games as our Steelers is a note as well. We've all seen times television were our fan base is so large at away stadiums, at first glance you thought the Steelers were playing at home. My girl (An Eagles fan) once told me she was amazed at how the Steelers Fans travels with the team. I told her most of those Steelers Fans didn't travel...They already live there.

Damn right we are. I am a displaced fan myself. Born in L.A., moved to Pittsburgh (where my whole family is originally from) when I was a baby (South Park area), moved around a bunch and ended up in Alabaster, AL :noidea:. Great thing is, there are literally TONS of Steelers fans here. I have seen tons of Steelers shirts, hats, bumper stickers, vanity tags, and even tattoos! I wish I still lived there, maybe I can make it back home some day:tt02:.

On a side note, all my siblings were born in a year when the Steelers won a superbowl....except me

Sister- 1975
Brother- 1976
Other Brother- 1979
Me- friggin 1986, when the Bears won! :banging:

Funny how nobody on this board can say much positive about the Steelers. Fire Arians, Bench Ben, Parker is soft, Marvel Smith sucks, Sweed was a bad pick, Ike cant catch, etc.
