i know many deserve the game ball..

But with ben throwing for 308 yards and parker running for 115 yards...

Lets give game ball to offensive line... they need a "that a boy" going into a short week:tt02::tt02:

Big Ben for sure. He comes out after playing terrible and losing the game for us the last game and had a huge game going for over 300 yards in the air and no INT's!

He led this team to the field goal winning drive in the 4th period and was making smart passes all game long. Thanks Ben!

I woud really like to give a game ball to our boy Russell

Those 3rd and shorts he converted kept them in the game

But Ben,the defense and willie in his return deserve it too

Sorry,

I have to give the gameball to...

GAY.

The ONLY time his name was called, was on a good play. The ball wasn't even THROWN to his guy, was it?

That means that today atleast, he was a shutdown corner. I sure don't expect that from him in the future. But for today, yes, he gets my game ball.

If he didn't cover well, we get burned all day long.

This thread actually has some meaning in it. Maybe if the penalty game would have lost us the game i would be upset, or if the lateral TD would have given us a loss, but it didn't we won with those two factors. So why cry about it.

Did you all miss Harrison's tackle for a safety? Or maybe his INT while the chargers were setting up for a sure score before half time?

Game ball goes to Harrison IMO

Troy. Started off with that highlight-reel interception, then made that awesome backfield tackle, then made the big play to end the game (which counts in my book no matter what the moron zebras say).

Ben on offense

Harrison on defense

This thread actually has some meaning in it

in your opinion.

using your logic means talking about the MVP of the game is pointless. i mean "Who Cares? We Won", right?

So why cry about it

so then why are you crying?

I'm going to do something off the wall here, and give it to both teams, because they made history today.

This was the first 11-10 final in the history of the NFL!

I gotta give it to the D. They came in and flat out played their hearts out. If it wasn't for them, I don't think we pull this win out.

Honorable mention goes to Ben and the offense. Regardless of the lack of TD's they produced, there was much more chemistry all around, Ben played very sharp, and most importantly, zero turnovers.

Classis Steelers fight! :drink: :tt02:

My game ball goes to Ben for proving all you haters wrong, who said he should be benched. James Harrison gets the honorable mention though.

I would like to say Harrison, but I have to agree Ward made the catch when we had to have it.

Ward.

Don't forget Ward made some key catches, one of the final drive and he had over 100 yards receiving tonight.
He makes honorable mention.

Yins are gonna freak on me for this but, "Bruce Arians." Ben threw fro over 300 yds (no picks, noTD's). Yeah, we didn't punch it in on 4th down but, the offensive game plan was EXACTLY what our Pro Bowl/Struggling QB needed. IMO, you did good today Mr. Arians.

Now, that said, if the offense was firing on all cylinders as it should be, then clearly James "The Beast From Hell" Harrison" is the Player of the Game!!! :chuckle:

I say ya gotta give it to Silverback-his safety and INT were crucial in this game! :drink:

Honorable mention to Ben-he looked like his old self! And also to Jeff Reed for being "Mr. Clutch" once again!

Now let's kick some Bengal boo-tay Thursday night! :chuckle:

Ben has really been given a hard time these days and I say 100% the ball goes to him.

Silverback and Troy have been outstanding all year. Had it not been for post concussion symptoms, Troy would have won us the Giants game. These guys have been consistently outstanding, week in and week out.

That said, Ben played great and deserves the props. He's taken plenty of lumps recently even though he's playing hurt, so his play deserves recognition.

steelreserve
11-17-2008, 11:42 AM
Harrison. If he doesn't get the safety and the interception, we lose.

Yeah, I hear all the people saying Ben deserves credit for having a better game this time, but you shouldn't give the game ball to anyone on offense if you can't even score a touchdown.

The_WARDen
11-17-2008, 11:47 AM
Harrison. The INT & forced fumble for the safety was the difference.

Can't give it to Ben...300 yards but no TDs by the offense.

Spaeth. 6 crucial catches for 55 important yards. Plus he blocked great all game and even had a double block taking out one guy, then another on a run play.

I give the Game Ball to SPAETH.

Jeff Reed second for still being Super Clutch.
