Despite football is a typical american sport, unfortunately not so popular in Europe like in the USA, both NFL's history and present are rich of personalities of italian origin.

As far as I know the most famous ones are former QBs Joe Montana and Dan Marino, apart from legendary coach Vince Lombardi. Can you add any others?

Roman Gabriel, Vince Ferragamo, Vinnie Testaverde. I think Franco Harris' momma was Italian, too.

I seem to recall that 3 of the 4 original Steel Curtain were Italian, or at least they frequented Primantis. Does that qualify?
