I root for the Sacramento Kings, I liked the fast paced type system they played.

How about you guys? Since there are is no NBA team in Pittsburgh, alot will probably like the 76ers?

Can't stand the 76'ers...

I don't have a 'team', I just root for players. I like LeBron, Brandon Roy, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and some others.

I hate the Spurs with a passion though. :chuckle:

By nature of family, I'm a 'supportive' Oklahoma City fan.

Like Steelman, I don't really root for a particular team. I've always rooted for individual players, and by extension, the teams they played for. Back in the day, I used to root for the Sixers because of the Doctor, I used to root for the Knicks because of Ewing (still a shame he never got a ring), and nowadays I root for the Spurs because of Duncan.

Detroit Pistons

i've always been a fan of Rodman. i followed his career with every team he was with. i loved him with the Bulls and then he retired. i found love in Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace. then i picked up on them again. now they got Allen Iverson and i hope they can make it past the damn Eastern Conference Championship and if they do...WIN IT! haha!

i hate the Lakers and Spurs.

Always been a Celtics fan. Just like the lean 80's of the Steelers, I enjoyed the glory days of Bird, Parrish, McHale and stuck thru the lean times with Sherman Douglas, Eric Montross, Reggie Lewis, etc.

Between SBXL and last season for the C's its been a dream. Now, if only my Montreal Expo's could win the series...........oh well.

I like the pacers, they are embarassing but I do live in Indy and I never lived anywhere that had a bball team, and you really cant beat the $5 tickets.

The last game I went to I went down to the seats right behind one of the baskets and got to meet Larry Bird so that was really cool!

I don't really follow NBA even though it's very popular among the youth in Mongolia. During the times of Jordan when he was with the Bulls, most people that I knew around here were rooting for them. So if I really have to pick I'd say Chicago Bulls.

But if Pittsburgh had a team, there is no doubt I'd root for it.

Chicago Bull fan. 'm not as keyed into basketball until the football season is over but i do follow the Bulls closely all year round.

It's not too pretty at the moment.

My team has always been the Sixers all b/c of Dr. J, I mean Dr. Chapstick. I can remember his last game vs Milwaukee. I couldn't go to school the next day I was so sad to see him go. Basketball is a mere shadow of what it once was. Since Jordan retired anyway.

Yep, I remember the end of that game in particular. Milwaukee beat the Sixers to advance in the playoffs and instead of being happy to be moving on, a number of Milwaukee's players were bawling because it was Dr. J's last game. I was pretty bummed about it too.

I don't follow the NBA that much, but since I grew up in Boston I have to root for the Celtics. Watching Bird, McHale, Parrish, and DJ in the Garden was something pretty cool. Last year got me back a little but I prefer college basketball.
