On Sunday Countdown, he said he feels cheated from the two losses in the AFC Championship games to NE because of the video taping. He thought we were clearly the better team both years and that the Steelers should've been the dynasty, not NE. He takes it personally, and he said NE always knew what they were doing on defense. Can't wait until this one is on Youtube.

Gotta love Joey. Even in the days following his life in Pittsburgh.

And he puts NE inside Miami's 10-yard line with 2 stupid penalties.

At the risk of being flamed, I don't miss him running his mouth before games and then doing nothing on the field to back it up, and it happened too many times.

AMEN! The times he ran his mouth the most before games are the ones where he did not do a thing on the field. He never learns. His defense gave up 48 points...that is sick. I always did wish he would just keep his mouth shut and let his play do his talking for him.

Totally agree

He's having a nice season no doubt, leads league in sacks, but running his mouth too much is his downfall

Only bad thing harrison has done for us is a safety on a long snap :chuckle:

Well, you can't blame him for telling the truth.

However, I agree with FS.

I am glad to see him no longer running his mouth and then not backing it up. However, he did do a good job getting into the head of the other team.

Oh joey....I love ya man, but this is the kind of things I really don't like about you

With 3:23 left to play in Sunday's Dolphins loss to the Patriots, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano got an ugly glimpse of how hard to control Joey Porter is when the linebacker collected an unnecessary roughness penalty -- no doubt, on purpose.

One play later Porter was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct -- just a guess here, but whatever he did was probably premeditated. And so Sparano had seen enough. He sent Charlie Anderson into the game to replace Porter.

Porter refused to leave the field in direct insubordination of his coach's wishes. Porter ordered Anderson to go back to the bench. After the game, Porter refused to speak with the media. (So much for being a stand-up guy.)

But Sunday's refusal to do what Sparano ordered is a problem. Joey Porter crossed the line. And it's not the first time it happens with a rookie head coach as Porter crossed the line several times with Cam Cameron last year.

So what should Sparano do with and to Porter?

Fine him? Suspend him? Ignore him? It will be interesting as most things involving Joey Porter are. It will be interesting because it is Sparano's first test of his will over the will of a star player.

That's simple.

Joey gets benched next week. Does not even dress for the game. Period.

R U referring 2 my avatar? Cuz if U R, it has nothing 2 do with Mongolia's allegiance 2 the US. It's a picture of the Statue of Liberty and Lady Justice together.

Since U brought this up, I'd B happy 2 tell U when it comes 2 Mongolia's attitude towards the US, U guys got A FRIEND in us. Then again I think what U guys probably need most is I'd say bigger countries like the UK, France, Germany, Russia, etc. not a small country like mine. :wink02:
