Steeler Santonio Holmes (10) celebrates his TD with teammate Nate Washington.
How do you beat the stingiest defense in the NFL? Not with five turnovers you don't. The turnover-prone Patriots are getting whipped by the Steelers in rainy Foxborough. Worth every penny of the forthcoming fine.

The more I see it the more I'm convinced that he did not leave his feet intentionally. I think the penalty is bogus.

It wasn't that he left his feet intentionally, they ruled that the hit was late, which was the correct call despite the ball being tipped. It was against a Patriot*, so I don't really care.

Just getting in from traditional Thanksgiving vacation at Grandmoms...I'm not going to lie...this game made my eyes water. WOW, I'm so proud of our Steelers....Played them hard, beat them down, and contoled just about evey important aspect of the game...Way to Go Steelers!! :tt02:..:tt02:..:tt02: ...Damn Good Win!

Worth every penny of the forthcoming fine.

id send a few nbucks to help pay that fine:drink: damn good hit and it was a foul because he was a "defenseless" receiver which i say is BS cause timing was throwin off due to the tip. but we won i dont care now we won :tt::tt::tt::tt::tt::tt03::tt03:

After watching the post game shows on NBC, ESPN and NFL Network, ESPN was really the only one to give us major kudos for the victory today. And I guarantee that if the Cheaters would have won today every channel would have been all over it. But who cares because we got the win and kicked the Cheaters ass.

I was wondering your opinions on something...

Personally, in terms of all the cheating allegations with the Pats and Belichick, I didn't think much of them at the time(for the most part, they beat the Eagles in that Super Bowl, so I got at least some satisfaction). Anyhow...

Do you guys think an * should be placed on the Pats' Lombardis? Do you think if they hadn't cheated, they prolly wouldn't have come close to winning those trophies? And there were allegations that BB put cameras in the goal posts to tape Peyton Manning's audibles, as well as mic up his DL to get QB audibles, any truth to this as well?

Also-is this a dirty team as well? No-I'm not talking about the Wilfork hit on Losman last year...from what Colts fans have said on our board last year, they told stories of how Seymour, Bruchki, Harrison, etc would stomp on their players' heads, try to injure them, etc.

Anyhow-the only reason why I'm asking is b/c you guys are obviously closer to the situation than I am.

That was a moster hit our deffense hits like a train week after week I love our team.

12-01-2008, 04:32 AM
Penalty or not, late or not, THAT HIT WAS WORTH THE 15 YARDS. It will make receivers the rest of the season look for Clark when they cross the middle!!!!

Not too shabby for a guy that almost died last year. Nice hit, Ryan.
