Where should we send out checks to pay Ryan Clark's fine on the Welker hit? I've been waiting for someone to lay him out for long time . . .

Great game today. We needed that one!

Welker didn't play until the whistle. That's all there is too it. Not going after a player after a tipped ball killed us with Reggie Wayne.

Isn't a player in the NFL I hate more than Wes (fall on the ground so I dont get hit) Welker. I was so glad to see him get his clock cleaned. Not that I want to see anybody get hurt bad, that was just enough! I am figuring $5,000? Sad thing is overall it was a clean hit, he led with his shoulder, sorta wish the ball would of got there just to watch it fly up and be picked when he got clocked!

That was a total attitude adjustment right there. Tough cat that Welker. That it what Tomlin would call, "Violent"

it was a very good clean hit.. but i would think that the dickhead that is the commish will fine him at least 15,000

The ball was tipped and Welker didn't play until the whistle blew. And yet Clark gets a bullshit penalty for it. Whatever.

I hope the NFL head office doesn't learn the lesson.

The more you fine us...

The HARDER we are going to Hit People.

Keep fining us, please...keep us angry. I really don't mind at all.

8 penalties again this week.

EIGHT!

Bring on the fine and be sure to have emergency crews on hand because we are playing Violent Football.

Great hit by Ryan Clark and I am sure he will be fined at least $15,000. Now here is my question though, when there is a tipped ball I thought everyone is fair game. I thought a defender could do whatever after a ball is tipped. Yes Clark will get fined, but he made a statement with that hit.

I've come to the conclusion that the only thing you can do is stop paying attention to the fact that they're now calling penalties and handing out fines for playing the game hard. How many of these plays would we have been fined for 10 years ago? None, because it's part of the game and that won't change no matter how many OMG-the-quarterback rules you make. It's only too bad his head didn't come off.

That hit was so epic, I'd be willing to chip in a little $ for Clark. Phenomenal.

That was such an awesome hit and such a ridiculous penalty. I half expected Hochuli to announce a penalty on the Steelers for showing up and trying to win against the Patriots.

That was an awesomely "violent" hit. Ryan Clark was saying earlier in the week how he was ready to hit somebody, and by golly he sure 'nough did! But not just a hit, a VIOLENT hit.

:tt02:

I'm sure Roger Goodeal is already on the phone deciding on how much to fine him.

I believe Ryan had a similar flag/fine earlier this year for hitting a "defenseless" receiver, so if they consider it a 2nd offense, the fine could be more like $25,000 with a possible suspension.

Either way, I don't think it was a dirty hit, and like it was stated before, tipped balls in the Indy game hurt us big time. So whether the ball was tipped, or if welker even had a chance to make a catch, Clark was just letting him know he was there...
"Hell-o!"
