On CBS this morning he picked the STEELERS to win and brought out his Terrible Towel He listed a lot of stats that favored the Ravens and Shannon thought he was about to pick the Ravens. Cower said he liked Billick, but never liked the Ravens.

Then he pulled out the Terrible Towel and said said this game is about heart and that the STEELERS will win!

That was awesome. Kudos to Bill for breaking out the terrible towel today. Glad he did because the other schmucks were all drooling over the Rats today.

The Chin's jaw was set after he made that prediction - I loved it when he took out his Towel :tt02:

Yeah but look how dominant our D has become since Tomlin shared his cover 2 knowledge with LeBeau. I love Cowher to death, but I love Tomlin too. Doesn't have the imposing chin that Cowher does, but Tomlin sure has a stare that could burn a hole in the wall. Tomlin would win against the wall in a staring contest too, but mainly because there wouldn't be one left. My brother told me a hilarious comment about Tomlin before he interviewed for the Steelers. He didn't get the Miami coaching job a few years ago because he was too "hip hoppy" and wasn't a serious tough minded coach. Tomlin fits Pittsburgh just as much as Cowher and Noll.

haha! you and me both. i LOVED Cowher's intensity and passion. but he fell out of the fans good graces when he opted to "play out" his last season. it was like he didn't even try. but hey, he'll always have a soft spot in the heart of fans, the city, and yours truly. i cry almost everytime i watch the Cowher special feature on the History of the Steelers DVD when he made it to his first Super Bowl and he was SOOOO happy he cried. always gets me. he's an icon and a great person...although i hear he can be kind of a dick in person if you ask for autographs or he's with his family. i don't blame him, but he's still an icon in my heart. =)
