Berger is a quality punter. Obviously, he is only a one year deal, so it's all good.

to his credit berger did save a TD on the Ravens punt return....had a nice saving tackle. but he's a poocher for sure when it comes to punting

Here are his punts from today,

28-46-38-49-51-40 for an average of 42. Other than his first punt, not bad.

Honestly, he's doing an adequate job. That's the most we can expect from a guy on unemployment when Sep had surgery. Quitcherbitchin. We could have kept Ernster.

Judging by the short distances of some of his punts, I'd say several of them were at least tipped. :chuckle:

You have to give the guy a lot of credit for that. I mean, he's by no means our long term punter; shows a lot of metal making that tackle and taking some contact for the team.

Although... Danny S probably would have jacked the returner up... Haha, but at least Berger made the play :tt02:

I was cursing out Berger after his first punt yesterday, but after that one he did a pretty good job. Plus he saved a TD return. I just hope he gets all of his shanks out of his system before the playoffs begin. Besides why cut him since he does such a fine job of holding for Reed. :chuckle:

Why would they want to try an block it, if they touch the ball it may go further.
