ummm...who cares!? the Browns are out and the Eagles can just...fly away. they need a miracle right now. so, who do you want to win!?

I don't really care win, but the only reason I give the Browns any chance at all is because for some reason, Monday night football is the only time they show up to play. So if they get a turnover early, and figure out a way to stop Westbrook, they have a small tiny slight chance of winning this game.

However, if they go down by 10 early, they could lose this game by 40 points easy. That team is pathetic.

no doubt. they were a bit of a fluke last year and EVERYONE grabbed up Browns in Fantasy Football this year.

now, they are THE biggest disappointment in football this year. to me, they are even worse than the Lions, Rams, and Bengals. haha! -- not true, but that's just the rivalry talking.

oddly enough, the Eagles are the NFC team i root for...unless they play the Steelers. i guess i just like PA teams.

Well heres how it's going to break down:

Rather than play some of the younger kids because the season IS over anyway, Romeo still think he has a shot at winning the last three (BA-HA-HA! I'm laughing WITH you guys at that one.), so he's going to play such veteran super stars as Slow Willie McGinest...yeah.....

Uh, our starting QB and our backup are both out.

Our RB is averaging like 3 yards a carry.

And uhh..Yeah you guys know about Braylon not being able to catch.

Our linebacking corp sucks, and our secoundary is..average.

Should be a blow out...mayve the next three weeks..

At least we get a good draft pick as a consolation prize.

a good draft pick probably won't be good enough. your team should probably move to a better city...win some more games...have an ex-convict on the cover of Madden...win a Super Bowl...then continue to suck and THEN you might have a chance at doing a little more than nothing. but then again...that's just me and the rivalry talking. haha!

Cleveland will be looking to get more company to join them in January. That's my prediction. lol.

ha-ha

good to see someone from Pittsburgh still hates us. ;)

wish my team would win a few game against you guys to bring more of the rivalry back, its been dead for a while.

a) If they win, it'll drop them a few more draft slots.

b) Getting blown out and embarassed again on national tee-vee will ensure the Browns won't be invited for any more Primetime games for at least the next decade.

Both worthy goals.

IF..IF...IF..Big If here.

Cowher gets the job.

Would not the Browns-Steeler game be worthy of a MNF/SNF/TNF?

IF Cowher gets the job, the Browns will finally deserve a primetime spot for once. this year, they haven't proved they shold get a slot on MNF/SNF/TNF.

IF Cowher gets the job, the Steelers will make him regret it. respect for the man or not, the team is out to win and they'll take him down with them.

i think going down in history as coaching the Steelers and winning a Super Bowl is better than coaching the Browns and no matter what...sucking balls. Cowher is smarter than that.

all i'm saying, i don't think he'll do it. he's smarter than that. it'd be like Jordan coming back for the second time with the Wizards...just pointless. Favre...i'm looking in your direction too.

i can see you're trying to be realistic...but why can't you even root for your own team and have some faith!? even if they blow...root them on. i do it for the Pirates! haha!

I feel ya, I still put my browns gear on and cheer them to do well. Just getting harder to do when your team doesn't even try.

The Pirates looking better this year? My tribe has been looking okay, we just got Kerry Wood as a reliever..not sure how that's going to turn out.

the Pirates haven't won since Bonds left. i call it "The Curse of the Bonds-bino" haha!

i could care less. like you, i love my shitty baseball team. i love going to games and being a part of the city. i even have a HUGE Pirates tattoo on my thigh. Pens and Steelers tattoos are next.

where's your Cleveland ink?

Havn't gotten one yet, plan on getting a Brownie elf one day. :)

Sports are a great escape, dig going to indians games regardless of the record..same with the browns as I saw the Texans lay the beat down on us.

yeah. atleast you got an NBA team. our closest assest would be the Cavs or 76ers. i hate both. so , i root for Detroit.

sadly, my friend is a Raiders and Pirates fan. he is in a sports abyss. haha!

sports for me is a great way to show i have faith in things i can't control. people call it a waste of time and sports shouldn't be that important. but in my line of work...sports is a GREAT outlet and a social lubricant. i can't get free without the sports. ya know?

At least you guys got an NHL team! lol. I'm holding out hope that Bernie moves the Panthers up here so we can have a rivalry in two sports.

Man..the Browns have to settle for a FG AGAIN..

Dawson is pro bowl worthy IMO.

SteelCityKing
12-15-2008, 09:09 PM
Dawson is sadly the best player on the Browns! haha!

the Penguins are a great team...but the only time they have rivalries is in the playoffs. except maybe the Flyers. -- Cleveland can't hold a hockey team...they'd fall in the lake! haha!

If this game is tied at the end of the fourth quarter, I say break it with an all you can eat Sizzler buffet eat-off between the two coaches. My money is on Andy Reid. What the heck, it's not like Donavan will know the difference.

Wow, Westbrook is one player I wish we had. I love how he picks up the blitz.. He would be Ben's bff.

sigh

Crappy game, crappy play.

Jones INT was followed up with a Pick Six by Samuel. Sad, very sad.

Funnny thing is that if the Browns had any offense to speak of, I think they would win this game. This is typical Andy Reid/Donavan Mc Nabb football. They look great moving the ball up and down the field and somehow manage to flub it up preventing them from puting games away.

49 states think the Steelers will beat the Titans next week and win the #1 seed. As seen on the ESPN poll.

The 1 state? Who else? Tennesee.

I agree, they get down in the redzone and think they have to throw it in when Westbrooke is one of the best HB's in the league. Go figure. However Edwards has caught everything thrown his way tonight. Which is unusual for him unless it's a Monday night game.

Yes, but there is some controversy about the vote from Illinois. Apparently someone tried to shakedown Mr. Rooney for cash in return for the vote in favor. :wink02:

Don't forget the Dorsey vs Fitzpatrick showdown next week.

It's gonna be one of the most talked about duals in NFL history, even eclipsing the Akili Smith / Doug Pederson battles of the past.

Sure they're trying. What they're trying to do is get as high a 1st round draft pick as possible, so we can trade it to Dallas for Roy Williams (WR) because what we really need is another WR.

I wonder if they're not tanking so that they have a good shot at drafting Malcolm Jenkins.
