so, incase you didn't know anything about me, i am a tattoo artist during the day and to make that solid money on a regular basis when days are slow, i work at *shudder* Walmart at night. i do overnight stock. with that job comes alot of sneak peeks at the goodies coming out this holiday season. sadly, i have no clue what the hottest toy of the year is either. haha!

anyways, i noticed ever since Mountain Dew put out decorated metal bottles that Coke hopped on the bandwagon and Pepsi now has bottles out too. well, these bottles happen to feature certain NFL players: Steven Jackson, Tony Romo, Laurence Maroney, Maurice Jones-Drew, Plaxico Burress, Antonio Cromartie.

laugh now, but i'm serious. haha!

so, i asked the overnight Pepsi stockers, "bro, where are the Steelers bottles?" he said, "sorry man, they don't make them." my jaw dropped and it really pissed me off because i instantly thought to myself...what a crappy line up to be featured on Pepsi bottles!? Burress? Maroney? ROMO!? come on guys!!! you can't throw ANY Black and Gold love on your damn bottles!? i can't believe of all people...PEPSI...are Steeler haters! well, good thing i like Cherry Coke...jerkoffs! =)

Coke, Pepsi and Coors light had em for the SuperBowl. Pepsi and Coors were only the SB logo though I think.

If the Steelers sold those rights to Pepsi they'd be in violation of their contract with Coca-Cola and would more than likley be sued.

However, soda marketing is very copy-cat so I wouldn't be surprised if Coca-Cola sometime within the next 6 months does the same thing with the teams that they are contracted with.

I like Pepsi, & I really do believe Pepsi tastes way better than Coke.

Hmm. I had that Pepsi in the middle when I was moving back to Mongolia. But got ruined by harsh weather conditions when all my stuff was kept in garage during the 2006 winter, & you know ... :banging: Now all I have is crappy looking empty can. :chuckle:

I prefer Pepsi myself.

My dad was a truck driver for Pepsi when I was just a little lad back in the 70s. We had Pepsi in the house all the time because it would often (fall off the truck) So I grew up loving it. Coke is too carbonated for me and I just prefer Pepsi.

But that's just me.

If that Rum and Coke- Pepsi is being delivered by a cutie wearing a grass skirt while I relax someplace closer to the equator than here, then count me in double. Hell, I'd settle for Faygo or RC.

The talk of these bottles reminds me of something. Still with my parents, I believe, I have three glasses remainig from a set of Steelers' glasses that McDonalds put out in the late 70's or early 80's. Don't know if anyone else remembers them, but they had images of a select player on each glass. I have Bradshaw, Greene and Swann remaining, I think. I think, I might go ask about those.:wink02:
