No, in fact Parrish would be the no. 4 receiver behind ward, santonio and sweed. And yes Gay ahead of Carr. I think the Steelers might not even try to sign McFadden if he gets a ridiculous offer because Gay has really showed a lot and I think the staff would trust him as a starter.

If we're keeping Arian's and Tomlin chooses to make the Steelers a pass first offense, fine, but I want Anguan Boldin! I know it's not happening, but I can always want and hope.

so uh how about that Titans game coming up Sunday?

Pretty good, except I don't think there's any way in hell we'll be able to afford extending Harrison, and especially not at his age. So I imagine he and Foote will both still be on the team next year, and the year after that Timmons takes over at OLB and a new guy comes in to replace Farrior as the MLB of the future (or vice versa).

Also, Townsend might be around a couple more years, so I dunno.

If we were going to roll the dice on a fullback in the low rounds, we might as well get Jorvorskie Lane. Who knows if he'll actually be any good, but man, if there's a guy I'd want in the game on third-and-1, you bet it'd be him and not Parker or Russell.

If they can fricking get Colon out of the tackle spot, the line will be instantly and noticeably better.

I highly doubt we fire 2 coaches after a SB win.

Maybe Arians would leave for a head coaching gig or something (ala Wisenhunt), but I don't see us firing either him or Zeirlin.

Other than the Raiders, no one is hiring Arian's to coach anything.

Which is exactly why I don't see Arians going anywhere IF we somehow win it all. But that's a long ways away.

Good catch tyler289

A prediction that the steelers win the super bowl yet fire two of their coaches, lol. Unless they are offered another job they are not going away after a super bowl win

That's our plan, though. Get rid of the dead weight by winning the Super Bowl and getting outbid for their services. Works for me.

If we win the Superbowl, they fire everyone and we go 11-5 and make the playoffs again, you won't hear a peep out of me. Although losing Polamalu, Roethlisberger and Ward would be a bit troubling.

Roscoe Parrish? I don't like the idea signing WR's that are under 6 ft tall in the first place, not for this roster at least: Ward 6ft, Washington 6'1", Holmes 5'11", Sweed 6'4". We need a tall WR who can catch the ball in coverage to give Ben an outlet. If you are going to sign a small WR at least get someone better than Roscoe Parrish. For god's sake the guy has just over 1000 career yards in 4 seasons, he rarely gets TD's, and he's been known to fumble some punts too. I don't know why anybody would want their $100 QB throwing to a guy like this.

i think roethlisberger would make parrish noticeably better. look at this QB's he has had.

what has antwaan randle el done since he left? nothing bc he has no QB (im not one to slob campbells knob)

big ben would make parrish a threat...jmo

Maybe we otta give Ben some more time to throw before we find him more targets to throw to. We already have Ward, Holmes, Washington and Sweed. Where does Parrish fit in except as returner? (which I wouldn't want him returning for us - too mistake-prone IMO)

Can't wait for 2012 season!

It could be hard to keep Nate Washington, especially if we are champions, but i think we should give a good try: we spend 3 years to make him grow as a solid receiver, now it's time for dividends.

I also think we should keep Bryan McFadden. I'm not sure he will receive big offers because of his injuries, but with him our CB corps would be loaded. I love McFadden contribution as a nickel back.

Boller???!!! Seriously?

I think they try to keep Leftwich, BMac, and McHugh. And I'll take the @#$% for this, but Washington and Smith too. They're both talented. Just coaching challenges. But thats why they pay coaches.

They have to vacate BA and LZ. Really.

Yeah, that sounds a lot better than giving him weapons he can't use!!!! Matter of fact it's been hard for him to utilize his physical weapons, let alone the ones on the field with the beatings he has taken this year!
