VIA Ed douchette,

apparently Clark was spotted around the facility on CRUTCHES.

It was in Ed's Press Conference Video...

altho, he was not mentioned on tomlins injury report..... (good thing?)

I hope it's not serious.....

Seeing how it's already Wednesday and nothing substantial has been reported yet, I'd have to believe that it's minor and probably a preventive measure.

I won't worry until he ends up on Coach Tomlin's injury report. For all we know it was a prank.

I don't put much stock in this report as of now... If it's actually an injury of some significance than it's obviously a huge loss. Carter can fill in well though if he has to for a week. I'm not worried about Collins passing over the top to receivers like Gage, McCairens, etc... And despite what most think, Tyrone isn't a bad tackler. I think we'd be alright against a run-first offense.

If Clark isn't on Tomlin's injury report, I don't think we have anything to worry about. I guess we'll know later on in the week what's going on with Clark.

Already reported

HEALTHY STEELERS

Even though FS Ryan Clark was seen Tuesday at team headquarters on crutches, Tomlin didn’t mention him when discussing his preliminary injury report.

In fact, Tomlin said, “We came out of the (Baltimore) game pretty healthy. We have our normal bumps and bruises that may cause some guys to be limited in some form or fashion the early part of the week. But for the most part, this is as encouraging an injury situation as we’ve had in a while coming out of a football game.”

The only two players on the active roster who didn’t play in Baltimore were DE Brett Keisel, who’s missed three games with a sprained knee, and OT Marvel Smith, who’s missed nine games with back spasms.

Keisel might be able to play in Tennessee, but it’s unlikely that Smith will be available

I hope its nothing serious. With the way he has been playing this year I'm more than sure he has an intimidation factor on the league receivers.

All they gotta do is watch him level Welker so bad he refused to re-enter the game and they'll be intimidated. :tt03: :helmet:

Doesn't sound like it's anything serious. Hopefully Clark is good to go come Sunday.

Man I hope this doesn't mean we are out Clark on Sunday. That would suck. Hopefully he is good to go, but if not someone else will have to step in and step up.

I wish we could get more details about the Clark on crutches story. WHY is he on crutches? What happened?

I know that he was not on Tomlin's injury report, but not practicing and being seen on crutches sounds like a lot more than just a precautionary rest for a veteran.

I know that he was not on Tomlin's injury report.

And that is the key for me. He was not on the Tomlin injury report so that should be a good sign.

Get the Titans to gameplan for Smith and a lot of media attention due to his "my 15 minutes in fame wasn't good enough" approach.
