For my once beautiful Lincoln LS. Some daft ***** pulled out right in front of me today, and I had nowhere to go but t-bone her. The front is destroyed, a rim is bent up, and the whole passengers side is messed up, and I'm pretty sure they will total the whole thing out. I'm okay, just a ding on the head and a sore neck. Maybe I'll take some pictures of the damage when I pick up my rental tomorrow.

This is what it used to look like...

Awww man Suit!!! That is too bad... I love the Lincoln LS.

I recently totaled my car (2001 Audi S4) I was upside down on my loan, and plus all the upgrades that I put on my credit card... I took a pretty good hit. I will never own a car that nice again. I still have not got over it...

Thanks, all. I'll find out if it's totalled in the next couple days...believe it or not, I contacted my dealer (who is also a client, which is always nice) and they have a silver LS, fully loaded like mine, a year newer with almost no mileage on it sitting on the lot waiting for me if I need a new car.

Sorry to hear about your accident Suit.........no doubt it's a pain in the ass situation.
Did the cops find her at fault??

A replacement with a V-8!! Nothing like driving with a little power.

Yeah, she was cited. When I think about the V-8, I cringe. The V-6 was only getting me 22-25MPH, and the 8 can only be worse. Plus, what do I need the extra 50 HP for? The 6 was plenty quick...

Picture time. The guys at the shop said it looks worse than it is, and is almost all cosmetic damage, meaning the frame isn't bent nor is there real intense mechanical damage.

Thanks again, all. GEICO just cut a pretty big check to the shop, and hopefully I'll have my car back before New Years.

And, yes, Ambridge, that is the car YOUR dog took a huge dump in...Thank God for leather interiors!

His dog took a dump in your car?

It was a pretty badly behaved dog until Ambridge adopted it. As an example, the dog would NOT go to the bathroom outside...I'd walk the thing for an hour, it would never go, then it'd walk right in the house, stare at me and take a dump right inside the door.

That Lincoln LS model is one of the nicest cars I have driven. Hopefully they can fix that thing up man. I hate accidents like that you just never know if they fix everything correctly. Good Luck

I never took it out on the track or to the drag strip, but I raced a lot of rice burners, and V8's from light to light.

My S4 had the 2.7 bi-turbo (that's two turbos) very fast!!!... I took it to Performance Clinic to have some work done on it (Intercooler, Performance Chip, Complete Stage 2 Turbo Kit, Cat Back exhaust) plus more, and it had an estimated 410 hp. When you consider that it's all-wheel drive there really wasn't a car that could hang with it off the line... except for an EVO.

I will PM you... don't want to hi-jack the thread.
