Thank you so much for posting that. It really touched my heart, very powerful lyrics.

It reminded me of another song from Sarah McLachlan..World On Fire.

Glad you enjoyed it like I did. The Lyrics went so well with the video. There really are some good people out there and alot of different charities that you dont hear about too often. All you get from the newspapers and TV is crime and the latest on Brittney spears and Paris hIlton's new BFF. Im really fascinated by the Priest who started the homeboy industries/ Jobs not jails program. As someone who turned their life around, I know all it takes is some help aNd someone to believe in you and motivate and inspire you.

She is one of my favorite singers. She does have an incredible voice. I have a Christmas cd of hers that I just LOVE..her voice so peaceful and relaxing. She does have a big heart, as she is also a spokesperson for the National Humane Society.

I agree with you 100%. I get so tired of hearing about all the negative things going on in the world. As much as I love sports(esp. football and hockey), mostly all that is reported and focused on are the players wrongdoings. Every so often you get to hear about stories that really reach out and touch your heart. I don't know if you remember seeing this, but ESPN had a story about the boy from Western PA-John Challis, and his battle with cancer and how he touched the lives of so many people(sports figures included), and how INSPIRING he was to everyone he met, it was really something to see what a positive and carefree spirit he had.

I am not familiar with the priest story, could you tell me more about it? I am very interested. God bless people like him who are willing to reach out and devote their time and resources into bettering the lives of others.

Oh, I know what you mean. Whenever that commerical comes on and I see the dog laying there he has such a forlorn, desperate look in his eyes, it makes me tear up every time. It disgusts me to see the way some of the owners have treated these animals! I have had many cats over the years( I just have one now, her name is Abby) and I always got them from the Humane Society. It feels good to know you have rescued an animal and also made a new friend in the process.

I have Sara McLachlan in my collection right next to Anthrax and Slayer.

Seriously. I listen to it all the time. Good music is good music regardless of genre, and she's a Helluva performer.

Daughtry seems too prefab, packaged and slickly produced for my tastes, though...
