View Full Version : Awful decisions at the end of 1st half

Ben spikes the ball twice with 40 sec on the clock and 1 TO left, ends up with no other option than trying a field goal, ...... which we miss!!!
That plus 2 fumbles earlier, one of which with Washington left uncovered in the end zone, right in front of him...............

Once again, Ben's 1st half was far from being stellar! Hopefully, he sniffs something in the locker room and wakes up for the 2nd half.

Spiking the ball is a sideline decision, not a QB decision, it happened last week also. The QB is told when to spike and when not to spike, it's not his decision. Complain about your coaching staff or running back who has 32 yards on 16 carries, not your QB who is 15 of 23 for 215 yards and 2 TD's

I truly did not understand the first spike , but I believe the second was done to prevent a review from upstairs.

and 3 TOs. BR needs to learn how to take care of the ball. that's 20 TOs for the year now.
