Now that I got your attention. . .

Let me give my opinion of Steelers fans:

One simple question How many of you, if told at the beginning of the year that we would have 2nd place in the AFC and a first round bye CLINCHED with a 11-4 record going int the last week. . . looking at this schedule, would have JUMPED at the chance?

I would have.

I'd have taken it.

I actually predicted we would go 10-6 this year...so glad I was wrong.... I will now take my lashes for doubting the steelers.

Well duh, I'd be pretty happy about it.

And if you told me the defense would be this good, I'd be pretty damn happy about that too.

On the other hand, as far as the playoffs go, I'd be worried that our offense struggles. And that against the four other best teams in the league, we've lost to three and didn't play the other one.

i wouldve taken it. but only if we had a line that cost over $40 mil, an average qb, decent defense, and a kick ass running game. :tt:

chicks dig the shortball!

I thought about the same, or one less.

No one has issues with people having some doubt. It is the way it gets expressed around here is the problem.

Imagine if we had an oline to back up our QB and running game...

I'm happy where we are and, if our offense gets it going look out we could be super bowl bound.

I don't think no one can complain about where we are right now I mean this team has played some tough opponents and we come out with the no.2 seed I am well pleased where we are right now.

Our Offense is bad but the Turnovers are making them much worse than they are. If we don't turn the ball over in our losses and our offense plays like they've been I still think we win the majority of those games.

BINGO!!!!.....and they would have said at that point that it would be conclusive of a SUCCESSFUL season.

Well, I predicted 13-3 or 12-4!

Though that's was just me being optimistic.

I'd take it - - and then some.

With that brutal schedule, I predicted either a 9-7 or a 10-5 season for our Steelers so I'm pretty happy about where they are. :applaudit:

Hopefully, come early February, I'll be saying "I'm ecstatic about where they went"! :tt02:

Absolutely. This season has been full of Surprises, Great Finishes, Great Defense, Growing as a Team...and a lot more.

I have felt this way all along this year. I was thrilled to get the 1st Round Bye.

Not me. I've excepted the loss. I anm satisfied. I was kinda weary of the #1 seed anyway

I predicted 11-5, but I thought of like a 3 seed.

I, honest to God, predicted a 11-5 season, a bunch of my friends called me crazy, saying they'll go 9-7 or 10-6 and be lucky to make a wild card, well, i was only one off, not too shabby

MDSteel15

I truthfully said 11-5 at the worst because I thought that our offense would play better than this. I knew our D- would be better than last year but MAN!!! Gotta love it....

I thought that we could have beat everybody.....I really still think we could have......All the games we lost were cause of turnovers.........Eliminate them and we are 15-0 right now.........But the Eagle's D really kicked the o-lines ass that day........But still.....I think we could beat em all.......

Imho, the regular season is just the stepping stones to the post-season. The seeds, while they give a team some advantage, are meaningless. What matters is winning and moving to the next game. After this week, it's going to be "one and done" for everyone. Season records will be an after thought. Teams play all year to get to this point. If you want to stay alive...You Must Win! There is nothing else after that. Bring everything you've got, and leave it out on the field.

"must no lose any mor games" :hope:

I'd have taken it.

Damn...I should have put my $20 down on them before the season to win it all. I won quite a bit in 2005 doing that.

I expected a 10-6 season. You figure after Sunday's win and going 12-4 with the NFL's toughest schedule is still a great season. Especially since we swept our division foes.
