Steelers vs Titans (12/21/08)

So many Steelers fans in Nashville – we took over the city
Nashville became Nashburgh but the end result wasn’t pretty

We helped fill up their stadium – a bunch of fans in each section
Black and gold jersey wearers in every direction

Since our Steelers were in Nashville I went in person
By the end of the day there was a lot of cursin’

The first half the Steelers played would be as good as it would get
The best part about the day – it wasn’t rainy, cold, and wet

Jeff Reed missed a field goal that could have tied it at ten
When did he do that last? I can’t remember when

After the half we hoped the momentum would change some
Unfortunately we had no idea of the awful things to come

We were able to take the lead once but it wouldn’t last
The Titans took advantage of our turnovers and got points fast

The atmosphere was hostile from the fans to the team
Stomping on our Terrible Towel made us want to scream

All those Titans should keep in mind we will probably see them again
Next time minus the turnovers and such a bad day from Ben

You may have beat us Sunday but we’re still 11 – 4
With a bye week upcoming for the injured and sore

Now we have a regular season game to go - home against the Browns
We’ll take our frustration out on them by scoring several touchdowns

12-4 and another division title for us to keep
And the best way to end the regular season with an AFC North sweep
