Now its the PERFECT time to get our run game going before the playoffs! And against the browns defense, we already have plenty of help. And nice clip dude :chuckle:

Agreed.

We need to play to the conditions.

Practice the run, rest the starters, keep that clock moving...

...come out guns blazin' to take that early lead and THEN settle down and pad some stats and rest the 1st stringers. just take it easy and make like Tom and Cruise. =)

If the wind forces cleveland to throw the ball then it is going to be a long day for cleveland.

At 8 AM here in the Burgh, the winds are ferocious. I thought my front window was going to be blown in just a few minutes ago. I hope these high winds and gusts are gone by kickoff. If they persist, it won't be a pretty day for either QB with the pass, Berger or Reed.

Same winds that blew through Cinci last night. Does it smell like Bengal poo? :chuckle:

Or Gradkowski. But that would be even without the wind :chuckle:

More and more wind. Get those cleats ready willie, you're about to cross the 150 yard mark today :tt02:

i like everyone's enthusiasm, but the wind also made the first meeting closer than what it should have been.. it also levels the playing field and allows for fluke plays.

i still say we will kill them, but you usually want the weather to be as nice as possible when facing such a weak opponent.

First pregame reports - 60 mph winds twisted the goalposts in Buffalo, they're all jacked up. Power outtages too.

I live 7 miles south of downtown Pittsburgh and our gusts are a lot stronger here. I went to run an errand a little while ago and as I was walking out to my car, the wind almost knocked me over and as I was driving, it was moving my car. It was overcast and drizzling but the sun is out now. I hope these winds take a hike before kickoff.

A half hour ago - yes. I was just outside and they seem to have died down just a tad, so that's a good thing!
