Who do you think it will be. My pick goes to a guy that seems to be getting no press---DeAngelo Williams from Carolina.

I can't disagree with him being the best pick, but I have a feeling if a RB wins it will go to Minnesota's Adrian Peterson instead - he's far more well known.

What about Drew Brees? 5069 yards and 34 TD, not too shabby.

I'd say DeAngelo too. I mean he did split more time with Jonathan Stewart than AD did with Chester Taylor. Plus AD has led the league in fumbles and only had a few more yards than DeAngelo.

My vote's for D. Williams.

Peyton Manning will probably get it as much as I don't want him to.

Nah, I can see Brees' numbers trumping better players (i.e. D-Williams)

i see bree's being the fav pick here.. he was only 16 yrds away from breaking the single season record...

Brees had a great season, but the fact he played for a last place team makes me not vote for him.

Look at it this way for DeAngelo Williams:

Jake Delhomme threw for 3288 yards.
Jonathon Stewart rushed for 836 yards and 10 TD's

Williams had 1515 yards rushing 20 total TDs(18 rushing) and zero fumbles

it's going to be philip rivers

#1 in yards per attempt
#1 in td passes despite having 160 less attempts than brees
#5 in yards (160 less attempts than brees)
#1 in qb rating

and all done while hampered by the nfl's #26th ranked rushing attack, and one of the nfl's worst defenses

the saints played in a very tough division this yr and they still had a good record

Manning got it.

Its a QB driven league and I thought it would be between Manning, Rivers and Brees, with maybe Michael Turner getting some love too.

I never really expected Williams to get it, but zero votes?
